Even I saw that, but it was just some advertising to sell what they have brought down it seems. For a leaf, it may need to have many charging stations because a single charge may drive you almost 100+ Kms depending on the road condition. Anyway, If one own a Nissan Leaf, kindly post the actual Kms that it can do for a single charge.

Never heard of a Charging Station. But plug in to your home can charge it as I heard. Correct me if I am wrong pls.

Hi mensoft, Of course. The paint and tinkering was done at a plant at matale owned to a toyota employee. He comes and goes but people who work there maintain the quality of the work. They also do electrical and mechanics too. But engine mods were done at a place at piliyandala and they do quality works too. I plan to do the drum to disc conversion little later. Because they know the stuff and do it right though it's bit expensive but it seems reasonable with the quality of the work we get. Carpets and canopy was done at horana cousion and I don't need to say more about them. Air conditioning was done by a person from horana who specializes on jeeps. So he knows where to put what stuff and you can handover the vehicle to him and come home without a doubt. If you want their contact details pm me. (Hope that is ok.) Thanks.

Hi guys, Just to share what I experience from my 4DR5 Restoration project, I thought of sharing this video with you all. Upgrades are still being carried out whenever I get time. I wanted a classic look and tried to keep the colors and look original while options are being added. I learnt a lot from this project and that is what I see is important. You may leave a comment if you like it. Thanks for reading this.

Yes it is. AE110 has a higher market value all the time as well as AE100. No matter how old, they still worth it seems. I suggested Nissan TRAD sunny because you may easily be able to find a better one for may be a bit lower than what your budget is and the rest you can spend to do the enhancements, services and repairs to get the car back into track as you wanted. If you consider buying an old vehicle, always keep some amount in hand and you do need to fix certain things if you need it in a good condition. I think it is better to give her a full service including every oil change, belt, coolant...etc after buying so that you will know even if it is an older vehicle, it won't brake down as you go. Spare parts availability, Ability to repair easily and less maintenance cost is very important too.

Even if I have newer steering damper and leaf springs that comes with standard, I will have to get the shock absorbers to match with them. In that case I don't think to replace torsion bars because its the standard. Correct me if I am wrong please.

Hi, Assuming this has not published somewhere else, please read http://www.ebay.com/gds/The-Truth-About-No-Holes-Car-Parking-Sensors-/10000000008152561/g.html You don't need to drill to fix a reverse sensor. Electromagnetic car parking sensors will help and save the car. http://youtu.be/_XrmyatXB3Y

Certainly will do that. My question here is that will it give me a considerable change in comfort while onroad? I couldn't still find someone who had done it before ( Change shocks from oil to gas or any kind of upgrade but with leaf spring ) and therefore Please help me getting an idea from someone had done it because that will give me the exact way of doing it if its worth doing. Thanks.

kind of my thought too. Price difference is very high too. Do you think gas shocks can handle tension better than usual oil ones? I am not a hardcore offroader but do some adventure tours once in a while. So i expected some comfi while onroad trips. Will gas socks make a difference? Any experience you have would help me a lot. Thanks Komi.

Disc Brake Conversion - Moulded Discs
Nishan.dj replied to Nishan.dj's question in Mechanical problems
Thanks don. Yes mechanically he seems to be good and done this type of conversions before. But my concern here is that they mould the discs to match with calipers and wheels. Have you come across such modifications while you were looking for that for your car? -
Disc Brake Conversion - Moulded Discs
Nishan.dj replied to Nishan.dj's question in Mechanical problems
A single resoviour (oil tank) but two separate lines gone to front and back from the master cylinder. Hope that wouldn't effect if the disc conversion is done. -
Disc Brake Conversion - Moulded Discs
Nishan.dj replied to Nishan.dj's question in Mechanical problems
In this case, they get Pajero calipers and moulding the disc. Not reconditioned or OEM discs. I noticed that the moulded disc is thicker than an OEM disc that comes to any other vehicle. There are two hydraulic lines going from master cylinder to front and rear wheels but If the spring loaded valve is for master cylinder, could it be a problem? ( Don't know whether this booster has that spring loaded mechanism ).
