Yea, the main reason for some motorists to feel a bumpy ride is that shocks were not pressurized properly. Its a must and you need to keep an eye on.

Check with TAAS, they are the agents for KYB. Furthermore, KYB is the OEM for toyota, which is your best fit.

I think the breaking distance is the most important aspect which we tend to overlook though.... http://www.kyb-europe.com/effects-of-shock-absorbers.html -

Thats right, KYB is the best option for Toyota. However, my point was, its quite suspicious that you can give a genuine set of TOKICO for 30k as KYB too must be giving the same discount. -

What i heard is, that there is no agent anymore for TOKICO, D***** has decommissioned the importing of the same. So giving the shocks at that price is little dodgy. -

Most of the Toyota comes with KYB as original shocks, guess its better to go ahead with the same. -
yea, you are better off with a pair of brad new as it comes with a warranty.......not only its a factor of comfort, but safety as well...

1) Well, it depends on what you have right now, if it is gas, you should go for gas. It got to be gas, but get it checked first. you may ask the agents. 2) For my knowledge, KYB is the best as they are the largest shock manufacturer and the market leader in JDM. But Tokico too is equally good. 3) Its quite unusual but as you have already mentioned, there are many parameters in to it. 4) Oil is good in comfort and gas for better handle. However, for my knowledge, most of the cars have gas shocks nowadays.

I guess they have increased the tax of many items.........hummmmm.

yea...its the opposite...

Make sure you pressurize it properly.......thats the main reason for the ride to be uncomfortable...

It is KYB for Toyota; but for Honda,it might be Tokico

KYB is the OEM for Toyota, so the best option....
