  1. Yeah I do visit the forum but only for purposes of entertainment. It does get quite amusing most of the time. This being a case in point! And no, fortunately or unfortunately, I'm not an EXPERT like you Praveen, to be handing out advice to anyone. Which is why I don't find people seeking advice to be of a 'Curious' sort. No matter how much you and your little friends argue, everyone can see where you all stand. That is transparent enough. It's quite obvious that this has become a pathetic excuse for a proffesional forum! Therefore, I withdraw my membership. Thankyou very much.
  2. There is a term to describe such people. Starts with a 'P' and ends with a 'Y'. Has three other letters in between and one is a vowel. Which is why I decided to shut up regarding the B4 project. End of the day it's your car and your money. What you decide to do with it and how you go about doing it is your business. Clearly, this JOKE of a forum is not a place where a real enthusiast can come for advice or info. Some of the members are whiny little mama's boys that never grew up psychologically beyond the tender age of 10. They think their little 'Dinky Toy' is far superior to the others because that's what the manual says! Come to think of it, this is the same fate that has befallen this country. People are always prone to screw-up somebody rather than give a helping hand. A member wanted to know what the Fuel consumption would be like with a conversion and all of a sudden he becomes a funny man. People find him to be of a 'Curious' sort. Absolutely pathetic. I would advice anyone to steer well clear of this forum when seeking advice regarding anything, unless you are in the good books of the 'Management'. Even then I doubt you would get any advice\info worth a damn and anyone that has a problem with my post or a requirement to delete this along with the others can go shove it up a hole where the sun don't shine. If unable to do it themselves they are more than welcome to come to me for assistance. Peace out. Suranga.
  3. Oooooooh how lovely!!! Then we can have a race!! Yaaaaaay!!! I always wanted to have a race!!!!
  4. hahaha!!! Is that the only way you get to look up a girl's skirt? Man in that case I'll make sure I help you out with some skirt raising runs.
  5. Did I say 800bHp on 95 OCT? Does "Fingers crossed" sound like a claim to you? Funny, because that sounds more like a hope to me.
  6. 1. Pericles. We never made a claim for 800 bHp on 95 OCT. That would be quite a stupid claim to make. Read between the lines mate. I think you would be wise enough to know it. That sort of an output I can't even dream of with my present turbo. I said, in a few months AFTER I get a bigger turbo AND the relevant mods to put the power down, then maybe yes. I never went around MAKING any claims. Someone asked me a question about the plans for my car and I replied. If I DIDN'T have a proper plan, I wouldn't be spending all my hard earned money on it. And yes, I'm NOT the type that adds a chopped exhaust, pod air filter, chipped ECU and claim I'm pumping 40+ extra horses. 2. MasterDon. Mate, I'm not building my car to challenge anyone or prove my car is faster than the other's. I'm older than that and a bit more mature too. Given the job that I do, this is just a means to while away the little bit of free time that I am blessed with and for my own enjoyment. I have no requirement to say or show that my equipment is bigger. If I really wanted to be of competition to someone I would have bought a LIGHTER STi and done this instead of a 1.5 ton car. EXCLUDING my weight that is! You can add another 110Kgs for that. As I said very clearly in my earlier post, ONCE I reach that output or thereabout, I will enlighten you on how I managed to do it. Maybe I'll go buy a COBB AccessPORT to check it myself. Again, I don't need to impress any newbies. Whether they are gullible or not is your judgment. I gain no satisfaction from claiming anything that I can't prove. Bottom line, I gain no satisfaction from CLAIMING anything.
  7. Never said or intended that you were a ricer. For me to come to such a conclusion I should know you which I don't. I'm no mastermind of AL. Judging by your previous posts mate you are no fool either. You seem to know your stuff well enough to not ask me a question in the form of a jibe. Last I checked, a B4 was faaaaaaaar from a supercar. Once I get close to that output I will let you know how exactly I did it. I prefer to share my knowledge no matter how small it may be. I do WALK the TALK. This thread has gone way too OT. My apologies to RLan. Hope the little bit of info I could give you as a B4 owner was useful and hope to see you around in one. Cheers.
  8. First of all mate, those pics Gfx uploaded were parts for my engine that are sitting in my room, waiting to be installed in my car. Second, it's quite funny that you are unaware of the fact that there are plenty of 2lts pumping over 900bHp with big turbos. I never said it's ALREADY pumping 400 bHp. I said, ONCE I build my engine AND crank the boost up of the present turbo I can probably pump around that range. Also you never know I may pump more or I may pump less as we don't have an AWD dyno here. Little more complicated and harder to digest than modding a bike eh?! Gihan, I checked up on that Precision turbo. Got a GOOD deal on it man!
  9. Yeah I get 10 easy outstation. Veeeeeeeery light footed diving that is. Probably with the TT setup and the huge lag in the mid rpm range you burn a bit of fuel. I'll go as fast as the brakes will allow me to stop. Then, maybe after a few months I'll go for a set of Brems.
  10. hehe! With the present turbo maybe 400+ at the fly but later on with a bigger turbo, harder tranny, diff, better suspension and FMIC, 800+ fingers crossed ofcourse.
  11. I did say my fuel consumption was going to go down
  12. Like I said, I get 7-8 in col (at the moment but after a month or two that is going to drastically change! ) but then again mine is a single turbo convert. Even a TT should give you over 5 for sure. It all depends on the condition of the car. Case being for any vehicle!
  13. Yeah more like a purplish one.
  14. Ok, I have a single-turbo converted B4. 1. I get around 7-8 in col. Veeeeeeeeeeeeeery light-footed driving. 10+ out-station. However, if I let her have her own way, I have also emptied a full tank of fuel with Tolouene in 20 mts. That's a 60L tank mind you. 2. Yes. As long as you find a car that has been maintained properly. 3. Well, it all really depends on what kind of a person you are. If like me, when you hear the slightest rattle or most indistinct noise you run to the agents then yes it could be a bit of a problem. Then again, I have been like that with all my cars. 4. At the agents, which is the only place I go to, no. Replacement of parts, yes. Again, Subaru cars are very reliable and if taken care of properly with the services done at the proper mileages, they will give you no more headaches than a Toyota. 5. A B4 TT I'd expect would go for about 2.3. One of the Captain's in my airline had a mint B4 TT with about 35K on the clock which he sold for the same about 5-6 months ago. 6. No idea mate. Sorry. 7. Once you find a car, take it to Senok and get a thorough check-up done and make sure the records are current. I'd stay well away from any Subaru that had not been maintained by the agents.
