I'm currently running on 0w-20 and planning to switch to 10k oil with same viscosity if available because i'm doing 5k every 3 months.. My question is, if I change from semi to fully synthetic, someday if I stop using car more often, can I switch back to semi-synthetic just by changing the oil? Or do i have to do some cleaning before switching ??

Can a cop standing on the right side of a dual carriage way stop your car by waving a torch at you? I was over taking and did not stop.
-
Ah you must have comes accross those SCUM who do it to take bribes or collect fines. The same happened to me. I think technically they can stop you and you and it doesn't matter where they are. But how in the world are you supposed to keep your eyes on the road and on the other bank of a dual carriage way!!!

Find out the truth.. Traffic Law MISCONCEPTIONS http://www.police.lk/index.php/special-events-/685-find-out-the-truth

Well some of these statements won't stand up in court. You cannot charge a person for speeding if you cannot provde speed. You can charge them for reckless driving of course or driving without due care. Another thing I noticed was something dependent on a IGP circular. This is the first time I heard that the IGP can implement policy such as arming police officers. I do not think that will stand up to legal scrutinity either. That has to be Gazzetted (it might already exist and the IGP mig...

Dear aqua driver who failed miserably to keep up with a 48 year old car driven by a 65 year old 'uncle'.. i feel for you!

Serviced at Mag City, they did a pretty good job!

on modern toyotas, i noticed roof top 2 gutters which may cause to rain water to drop on to windshield & isnt it a bad design?
-
No it doesn't. Its there for aerodynamic and design reasons. When the car is moving water will always move backwards. When the car is stationary it will move forward backwards and to the side depending on where it falls. This is the same in all cars. The light grove does not make a significant difference to this behaviour. If the groves around the windscreen overflows, water will flow onto the windscreen. This again is true of most cars. Personally this is preferred to it going over the s...

Saw a 302- Prius the other day. Whoever bought it then was a real pioneer.

Does the peak HP fall to a lower RPM when the engine capacity increases? give the fact everything else remains constant. Or is the torque?

the compression ratio is relative to stroke. Its the ratio of space uncompressed to compressed right, which is directly relative to the travel of the piston from its bottom position to top. The chape of the combustion chamber also has a bearing on this. There was a good article about the relationship between torque and horse power you should read. It was posted on the forum but I'm sure Google will give you the same result.

I went through Suzuki's line up, they have pretty nice small cars. Why arent they brought down here? are small JDM cars and Indian cars taxed in a different way?

Do you need to do any settings changed on the ECU after changing CVT oil?
-
How could you drive from left hand side of the vehicle and shift gears with your right hand!!!? it would feel totally wrong
-
I'm not sure it makes a difference and I don't see how anybody can feel better positioned. The advantage of RHD is when you are changing gear your right hand is on the steering wheel which for most people is the hand they use most. And the right foot is on the accelorator. Its just the Americans the French and the Germans wanted to be different from the British I'm left handed so I've dealt with things built for right handers all my life. Its no biggie.

Saw a 420D while crossing the road just now. Only figured out it was a 4 series because of the emblem. BMW styling needs a SERIOUS upgrade.

So there is a new facelift indian alto fitted with the silly tiptronic gearbox and the main thing they focus in there ads is that it has a two tone interior... "Indians"

My car has been recently transferred to CP from WP, but the new plates have still not arrived. My revenue license will expire soon. My green certificate will have the license plate number as WP. Will that be a problem when Im going to renew the revenue license?
