  1. Hi Rupesh, Thanks mate, just got home this morning after being away for almost a month, my tour to S.E. Asia was mainly to support Dinesh Jayawardena with his EK9 which he took part in the Super 1600 event, a support event during the A1 GP in Sepang last month. As I had all my equipment with me and seeing the immense potential for such jobs in the region I just went ahead and explored the market with some success. To cut a long story short, hopefully you'll see a few TIC branches in that region soon. Atleast for the past six months the word has been out that we have the equipment and the backing to carry out tuning jobs for almost any euro car and now 90% of the new Jap models too. I'm yet to see the enthusiasm about it except a handful, it could be bcos of the economic situ we're faced with. Now with fuel prices coming down hope things take a turn for the better for the performance industry. I have no plans to Dubai at the moment as I have trip to Bombay next month for a organised motor show and also the guys in MY & SG wants me back there in Jan. Cheers
  2. The P11 should be possible, need to have look at the ECU to confirm. If you're referring to Toyota, no hope except going aftermarket stand-alone or piggyback. You get some other OBD1's which are very much tuner friendly like the Honda and Nissans.
  3. Only a few of them are tuner friendly at the moment, the ones with Bosch ECU's. RnD is currently going on to crack the Denso ECU that come on the Toyotas. We have a piggyback solution thou.
  4. Kris, its a custom tuned reflash. No Piggy-Backs or any external devices. Support for your car should be there but need to have look at the ECU to confirm. For most cars the reflash is just off the OBD port. You're always free to drop in, all new models from Mazda are possible but as for the older ones need to check the ECU out.
  5. Hello everybody, Tunedichips is now geared to ECU chiptune/reflash almost any car (Petrol/Diesel) in our roads which includes the new Honda's, Mazda's, Mtsubishi's, Hyundai's, Nissan's, Suzuki's, Subaru's, KIA and all European brands. Power gains of 10 to 50BHP is achievable depending on the type of car. All tuned maps are dyno tested by our principals in Europe and slight tweaking is done to suit the car and fuel type locally. 6. Carb Honda's do come with a EACV (Mounted somewhere on the IM) try cleaning it, should be just fine.
  7. He is just celebrating his 2nd anniversary of being 29
  8. A Beemer or a VAG will be a lot safer than a civic or any of those Jap rides u mention, but a civic is real bang for the buck for mods. Any way now you can even get your euro ride sorted in Colombo without much of a hassle n $$$$
  9. yes...first check the basics like the sensor itself or a lose wire connecting the sensor could give such intermittent issues. If it is the case when the engine is hot, then your in trouble as it could be that you're losing oil pressure.
  10. FYI the 300Z comes with a tuner friendly ecu, if you haven't heard the old chinese saying "Good things no cheap, Cheap things no good"
  11. Hey Rupesh, Congrats bro! Thanks for the kind words, I'm really glad that all our time and effort came good. My apologies for showing up a lil late in this forum as been somewhat busy running around. Now lets get a few more things right and aim for that top spot. Cheers Zakie
  12. That car hasn't come back for tuning since the turbo was mounted, wonder if its still in the paint/bodykit shop. Except for the turbo kit n ecu everything else is pretty much stock.
  13. The right setup yes you can, you'll need a good tune, injectors, map sensor, In/Ex manifolds but I wouldn't risk it. For reliability you would need to build up the bottom.
  14. A properly done (Turbo) D series would throw s'ting like 300hp....
