I've also heard that its good to shift to 'N' when you are in stand still in traffic for some time to reduce the pressure on torque converter. I've tried shifting to 'N' few times and ended up forgetting that and reving in 'N'.. So I gave up that.
Why, putting to P while taking a fast turn makes you a Drift King

Pressurising to running pressure was done.
No oil in the coolant.
All horses clamps radiator cap and water pump replaced in the overhaul around 40 000km ago.
No root cause identified
Last option was to dismenttal and check the head gasket which was replaced with a genuine one around 40 000km ago. Some say it could crack.
Despite all this there is a leak according to the info, so it needs checking again. So get some competent mechanic to check all again.

Checked the cap and did a pressure check.
All were ok
Also checked the water pump and radiator all is ok.
The mechanic had told only the oil cooler system is left.
What about the liqui moli stuff.
I was told it only seals at places it's exposed to the outside air
stay away from quick fix bottles. Find the root of the leak and fix it. Could be a loose hose clamp somewhere. But the leak test should have pointed out where the leak is. if done correctly. When you say leak test, did you pressure the system to operating pressure? and observe? The operating pressure is indicated on the cap. Is the radiator itself leaking? How about he heat matrix inside the dashboard? If oil cooler is leaking then there should be oil in the coolant.

After going through all of autolanka found lot of records regarding service places for bmw. But most of the records are around 2013 or before. can any body recommend better place for a service for bmw f30 imported out side prestige. they are charging 950000 for registration at company. Thanks in Advance.
Can do machang, not an issue. Workshop is in Thalapthpitya, off the Japura Hospital Road. Let me know if its a diesel or a petrol. We are a level 4 Prestige authorized repair center so if you like we can get you the Prestige parts installed for you. Or we can get it for you ourselves or if you like to, bring your own parts and we will fix for you with labour and other charges applicable. . Although for the latter no warranty will be given.

Not necessary, Preference of auto over Manual is no longer a case of Masculinity Vs Femininity. Its the reality of our times with time spent hours stuck in traffic. I'd rather be stuck in an Auto car in morning traffic than in a manual.

Insurance companies goes through docs with a fine tooth comb. there is no guarantee that they will pay you even after you registered the car as the day of registration and the day of the accident will raise questions, and if they dig they can easily say that the cover was given in good faith and you withheld crucial info. This is a write off, trust me, for write offs they go through EVERYTHING!!! If a comma is out of place they will find a reason not to pay.

Thank you for everyone's comments.
I know this had been discussed before.
But what I am asking is a tad different.
Stafford maybe super in service, but is Auto Miraj that bad? how come they sustain there business for so long if they are so bad.
My next question is about the engine oil, engine oil for 0w20 is 5000KM or every 6 months, can you prolong to change your engine oil maybe slightly late, perhaps say 8 months? I don't run very much, perhaps 2000-3000KM every 3-4 months, what's your personal advice, on changing the engine oil and services rendered?
Thank you soooo much.
You sound like a real KUNA... Typical Hybrid owner

Machang, really, if you are not going to run that much you are better off with a cheap Jap run around.

there is. we just don't let the Japanese and Indian car community join it.
For the simple reason that many people buy Italian cause misguided assholes buy them cheap and complain about their idiosyncrasies and we don't like that.
You don't buy an Italian cause you ran out of option in buying a car, you buy an Italian cause you have all options yet choose Italian
Because of that yes, we don't allow fcking losers with Thel Hinganna and Full Option and Re sale value mentality to join.

Hi Guys,
to start off Im no eprert a noob if you may, I got a 2012 Aqua in Feb and Im not too impressed with the fuel consumption. in traffic I get about 10-12 Kmpl, I get 20-24 Kmpl on the highway, but if I switch off the AC it then goes up to 26-28Kmpl
is this normal? is there something I need to get checked? am I wasting everyones time?
Hush
Something is seriously wrong with your freaking car. Sell it and buy a normal car. For the money you spent on that hunk of junk, you should be getting your money's worth. Your are obviously not. There is NO WAY you can get 12 in he city and 24 in the Highway. Check your fux capacitor and see it if its giving out 500mV.

- Both sides break washers leak Get them replaced ASAP
- Oil leak from crank oil seal, engine sump packing & power steering pressure hose . ( They told non of them are not severe leakages) No such thing as non severe Engine oil leaks. Get them all attended to unless ou want to find yourself running with no oil.
- Shock boots broken in front right & rear right - Noisy, can manage, but better to replace.
- Front lower arm ball joint boot broken - Replace
- Front right side hub ball joint play - Replace
- Front left side upper arm ball joint play - Replace
- Wipers arm bushes broken - repair or Replace.
After hearing this I am little bit confused about my vehicle & i need experts support to clarify the below
- What are the issues which quick attention & rectification are needed. All of them
- What would be the rough cost to rectify the all the issues. Around 50k
- Any good & reliable places to get this done around Wattala, Kandana,Negombo. Not sure.
- Is the vehicle still reliable to run without rectifying these... Of course not. You dont want to find yourself with no brake oil or engine oil, right?
My knowledge about vehicles are not that good & I really need your support here you guys..........

Did you see a difference in the stream before and after the clean up? Physical cleanliness of the injector surface is irrelevant. What is key is the change in the spray pattern.

Dear Mr Sylvi, as recent as last week, I gave someone your shop location to get a windscreen of an Audi fixed. Hope you are doing well. Stop being so glum. My dad is 81 and his only gripe in life at the moment is lack of access to cigarettes. Still rides a bike looking fo ciggies.
