  1. You are a fidiot machang.... don't breed.
  2. Had to take a double take on what you said and I realized you must be the ONLY practical hybrid user I have ever seen. People in LKA DO NOT Take total cost of ownership in to account when they get in to debt to buy car that saves a few rupees at the pump. BTW, can you elaborate on the cost of inverters and what not?

Stay away from the HIDs for your stock setup... all it will do is scatter the light, making you wish you had a torch and dazzle the oncoming drivers. Dangerous for everyone... and useless and lethal if you drive in the fog in the hills of Sri Lanka. The stock headlamp system is fine as it is. If you want extra oomph, go for the Nightbreakers but make sure you don't use more than the wattage recommended.
  4. As a habit I pump for a specific RUPEE value only. 4000 or 5000 or 3000, etc. Depending on the needle position.
  5. YOu can get a great car for less than 2.0mn. Your neighbors or your friends might not approve though...
  6. Can't you buy like several cars for 3.3Mn? Instead of just one car... like some of us do?
  7. Just past Japan Lank actually... ask for Prasanna's AC shop.. you can't miss it. There is a massive Pihimbiya tree in the compound.
  8. They should make the drivers/owners kneel outside their cars holding their ears for all passing traffic to see...
  9. EXCELLENT!!! They are prosecuting the douche bags SOBs who ride with the 1000 rupee red and blue flashers. http://www.lankadeepa.lk/index.php/articles/317988 They should prosecute the MFrs who sell them also.
  10. Who is Situlya? The guy in Mirihana who installed a new AC for the Alfa is highly recommended though. Just near Japan Lanka.
  11. Is the car cooling normally? IF yes, there is nothing wrong with your compressor. If it's making a noise, it could be bearing related. Replace the bearing. Won't cost 2000 rs. OF course you will need to re-gas, but then use that as an opportunity to service the AC. As Crosswind said, most AC shops are fuktards and they will rip you a new one if you let them. Having said that, there are few good guys also. Best option is before you start looking for replacement parts, get the full system checked by a competent AC technician.
  12. Wurth or 3M is the ideal products. But if you want to get your hands dirty, you can pull off the TB and use petrol and a small brush and clean. But remove all rubber seals and O rings before you do any cleaning with any of these solvents. Having access to compressed air also will be a big plus.
  13. or he loses his coordination completely... and loses his ability to find his own asshole in the dark... despite using both hands? Just pitching in Gentlemen .. cause when the Zombie Apocalypse comes, I am gonna take a machete to them Tuk Drivers and them Hybrid drivers before I turn.
  14. Henry Caldera, God rest his soul, could have found JJ Lanka with his eyes closed... Stevie Wonder if he ever visits Sri Lanka and wants to go to Mount will find JJ Lanka.
  15. You should... they will come and pick you up and show you the cars themselves.
  16. COrrection. EVERYONE will laugh at you... even posh tuk tuk drivers aka VEZEL Owners...
  17. Yes, you will see a noticeable difference in your Douche bag levels. Same way the Douche Bag bus drivers have fixed a small whistle every time they step on the clutch.
  18. Pioneer stocks every part. Not surprisingly things like Bushes and ball joints are a expected common among many platforms. But I do not expect them to know that or best case scenario, share the info with you. Meanwhile, I am in the process of getting rack ends, lower arm bushes and other wiggly bits replaced in the front yesterday and today. Usual suspect in Seeduwa is on the job and I am not even bothered calling to find out the progress. For the OP, I suggest that he takes the car to a competent mechanic, do a few test runs and start on the work one at a time. To start off, get the service done. Clean the throttle plate, change the plugs and injectors and see. For all parts, try Pioneer like Devinda Z said.
  19. As much as I wanted to believe in the expertise of the A*W crew, I Was rather disappointing with the way they handled the RB25 of the Laurel. a) To diagnose a simple miss in the car, they wanted to do a compression test. They did, and charged me for the work. Miss was due to water in one of the COPs.. Why would any mechanic do a compression test on a car that has done only 86000Kms according to their own records is beyond me. When asked how soon I should change the T Belt, they started scratching their collective balls and started debating with me that the RB is a Chain driven engine... I did not want to argue with clearly greater minds... . c) They do not carry a SINGLE PART for a Laurel, their excuse... 'We didn't import it'. d) The Service Advisers are monkeys. They patronize you as if you were born yesterday and try to sound like Mr Scott and you just allowed them to work on the Enterprise...
  20. Pihimbiya leaves gets in to places in the car you never knew existed. LOL
  21. I wouldn't do this machang.. car might get 'penis' amaaruwa...
  22. I think of Letty when I see Paul Walker also...
