Valve Replacement Since rubber deteriorates over time and tire valves are not expected to resist deterioration for the life of two standard tires in normal service, tire valves should be inspected and replaced if any cracking appears. As a rule of thumb, the industry recommends replacing tire valves whenever new tires are installed. While Track & Competition DOT tires may only last several weekends on your track driven racecar, the metal clamp-in tire valves should be replaced every other year because the heat transmitted to the wheels from the brakes is significantly greater than that experienced in normal service.

Loss of about 10% loss or 3 PSI of air pressure every two weeks seems a lot. It may be from the tyre valve. http://tiresciencetechnology.org/doi/abs/10.2346/1.2150984?code=tire-site&journalCode=tist

http://www.autoindustriya.com/features/testing-the-new-bridgestone-ecopia-at-the-tbpg.html The second tire in the series is the Ecopia EP200. While the EP150 was designed for compact and subcompact customers, the EP200 is suited for compact to midsized cars like the Toyota Corolla and the Toyota Camry; of which several examples were present at the proving ground for testing. What's unique about the EP200 is that the inner sidewall is actually stiffer than the outside wall to aid in straighline stability and economy. Bridgestone claims the EP200 can deliver 8.1% better fuel economy than comparable, conventional tires. We'll test that later. 185/60R15 is an acceptable alternative size for 165/65R15. https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc The rim that fits 185/65R15 can be used with 185/60R15.
