  1. I got a quote from Toyota agent and they gave a corolla diesel manual one for 4.1M. But it says delivery is around 6 to 7 months. Are they going to start the design based on my confirmation?
  2. What is the price of Xtrial diesel for the permit you got. very few vehicles are there which came for tsunami rehabilitation work. Agent has no interest for the vehicle. Further I noticed that Xtrail is on clean diesel and I dont think it will be suit to sri lanka. Also the price range will not come to permit limits.
  3. Thats very scaring figure. If driver is not manipulating the figures for his own benefit this is a useless vehicle. Do we have any other updates from the members. Thanks for your effort man.
  4. mate 7.2Kmpl is in city or long run. Is this your experience? Lot of people complain that this vehicle is very low on fuel and some says better to go for a petrol one.
  5. I am talking about brand new imported by agent for the permits. All comments received to me by rumors only. I wanted to get a real comment from a owner or a user who has driven it for some time. Thanks
  6. I have searched on all AL forums. But no luck so far. Please update if you have experience.
  7. Friends Any body who has recently bought Montero Sport 2.5L Diesel for permits. I am interested to know the fuel consumption comfort details. So far my researches from the web is it will do around 9kmpl. Is this true. Some says it is over 14kmpl. Can any one owns give me the exact figures. If possible X-Trail diesel also. models after 2009. thanks aswe
  8. Please follow what MINIACE has mentioned. This is known to some Nissan models aswe
  9. Guys Please check my previous post. http://forum.autolanka.com/index.php?s...8&hl=Octane
  10. Honda EK3 Manual is also very good. My one does 11 to 15 km/pl
  11. WoW Its lovely muchang. Just tell us how is the comfort level. I have seen on some comments on the web as it has bit hard seats and not so comfort in the long run. Is that true? I feel like selling my 97 Ek3 and get a one of this. If your pocket is not empty just try to fix good alloys. Congratulations and thanks for the nice pics. I love the pic on the dash board which gives a clear view on your kmpl meter. ashok
  12. Guys Every engine has performance diagrams. One is torque vs speed and other one is output power vs speed. If you maintain your car based on these diagrams you will get the highest efficiency. Generally most cars are designed work highest efficiency (most fuel economical) at the speed of 40 to 60 kmph. I dont think if you drive on L at a very low speed (I dont know what you mean kota kota yanawa) you will not get the highest fuel economy. Regarding the specific problem our mate has I think you need a throttle valve clearing and and EFI tuneup with your spark plugs checked. check your air filter and if ATF is not changed or degraded you need to look in to that as well. Other thing is check your shocks and tyres also. At last but most important is your driving style. Good Luck ashok
  13. Guys I think for this budget the brand new best buy would be Alto If not he can go for a used march Else he can increase the budget slightly and go for a brand new Kelisa This is based on my choice aswe
  14. Machan My company has more than 40 micro vans out of those 10 are their new model. The old model is some what good on comfort level. Newer model is worse on comfort. But better look. You need to have a separate piece of wooden block(Adayak) to pump fuel. Normal way you can only fill half of the tank. The van is dual AC but you have only one control. 'Fuel consumption is very bad and it is around 6 to 8 km/l (Drivers may also try to show it like that) I do not recommend it any body to buy for personal use.
