Anyway to identlify this? So if this is the problem i have to replace whole thing?

Guys, I have a toyota DX dessel manual wagon(64-) and i'm having a problem with it during last 3 days. I had replaced my clutch/pressure plates last week thusday from a mechanic wel know to me and i got my vehicle sae day evening. Car was working fine on that day and next day morning, but on friday evening suddenly i couldn't change gears by padling clutch and clutch got loose. When i call my mechanice he asked me to push clutch several times and then change gears and then it worked(but only for few distance and i had to redo this process till i got to mechanics place). There he tightned cap like thing in upper pump(which clutch oil tank situated) and then release air from clutch several times and then clutch was ok again. But clutch got fail again on next day afternnon. So again i went to mechanic and then he found there are some oil in cap like like thing and he covered cap head with superglue and another glue to stop any leak from there. Then again afer few air releases clutch was working fine. But again next day(yday) same prob came and this time it was worse. Even by paddling few times fear didn't get relase. so mechanic had to come and relase air from clutch and then gear start working again. So again i went to mechanics place and checked the engine and there was no oil leak from anywhere. So finally my mecahnic valded the cap from inside so no leak can happen(even though no leak had happened on it). Again after few air releases clutch and gear is ok. From yesterday night to tomday morning its ok. But still im not sure what will happen on afternoon(since prob always come on afternoon not morning). Also forgot to mention when my mechanic fixing clutch plates he had replaced the 2 ruber washers in top tank also. Does any of you guys had this prob? Any info on this? thx

When i went to fill my car with Super dissel last weekend to a IOC petrol stations the pumper told me that they no more distributing super dissel and also told that they are going to distribute another type of fuel from next week onwards(same as super dissel). I can't remember exact name of it. Anyone of you guys have more information regarding this?

Machang, i have a question regarding cabling wheel cups. Won't this effect removal of tires when removing tyre during servicing the car or replacing?

Guys, any of you know place/s where I can buy cups for my toyota wagon which ahave 13 tyre. I need a place which have variation (I’m especially interested in cup which give the looks of alloy wheel) and also if possible a place which accept credit card. Normally how much will it cost? Also any of you know a method to prevent cups get stealing.

Guys, what i want to know is when we claim insurance for a amount less that insured amount do we get requested amount or only a precentage of it(according to the insured amount)? E.g: Vehicle insured amount - 5 laks Actual price of vehicle - 10 laks Amount need to fix dsmage - 50k Sum given from inurance- ???? Hope any of you guys have an idea. Thx.

Guys, Does any one of you know reliable place to get a recondition Dissel feed pump for my Toyota corolla DX wagon(2000cc)? I had starting problem with my wagon(when i press feed pump for a minute it starts without any prob) and due to this i had replaced my feed pump with a orginal one(as they call) from 'M * Organi*ation', but even after that i had same problem. So my mechanic check all horses comming from and going from feed pump. Also he checked holes in dissel tank and check dissel pump also. According to him no prob of them. So as per him only culprit is the new feed pump and i can't get a replacement since there return period(2 weeks) had passed when i founf about this. So only solution is to try a recon feed pump. But i couldn't find at least one after i search from nugegoda to Maharagama. Hope one of you guys can help me in this. Thx

Guys, I'm also interested in fixing a security system to my wagon. Since my wagon doesn't come with central locking i had to get it installed too. i checked with "S** L****" and they said they can fix both for 9500/-(which is within my budget). But my what worry me is one of my friends told me when ppl install security systems they doesn't do wiring correctly(cutting wires in wrong places etc.). So any of you who had purchased from S** L**** had any problem regarding wires? Also are there any other places to get a security system with warrenty? Thx.

Thx for info. My worrying factor is when we replace doors even though doors are cheaper, it'll cost more since they need to be painted with car color(some one told me that i have to paint whole car ).

Guys, My wagon is a basic model(Toyota DX wagon- ce 106) without any power options(central locking & power windows). So can i know whether there's a way to fix power windows funtions without replacing doors to existing doors? If so how much will it cost? Thx

Well i also replaced my timig belt last week. I think cost will depend on the vehicle brand and model. My toyota wagons one cost around 3k. But this is only for belt you normally have to replace adjuster racers as well. Which cost me another 3-4k. Regarding time to change timing belt according to my mechanic you have to replace either in 100k(depend on vehicle brand, i think koren vehicles timing bet have to be replace in 35k) or in 5 years. If you milegae is less than 100k and more than 5 yrs it's recommended to replace, else if your vehicle is less than 5yrs old and mileage is 100K you have to replace also. Hope this give you an idea. Experts if i'm wrong in above pls correct me.

Well i checked with mechanic and he told he had checked all pumps comming to feed pump and pumps going from feed pump. So seems no issues there. He told me there might be a problem in feed pump i brought from m* organ**** few weeks back, thinking feed pump is giving the problem. Can it be the problem?

Guys, I got my wagons dissel tank cleaned yday and also got my dissel pump repaired. But now fuel gauge(meter) show inacurate information. E.g : When i gave my wagon to mechnic it had fuel upto quater level(mechanic had used dissel from tank to wash tank and also he had usd the wagon when going to uy releavt parts, so fule level should be below quater level). But when i took it from mechanice place indicater was in quater level, but on the way i was driving it from mechnics workshop to home indicater went upto half level and then again it went to middle of quater and middle level. Then i pumped 500/- woth dissel(6-7 leters), after that meter start decreasing upto quater level and then aginto middel of quater and middle levels. Agin today also it sometimes goto middle level and quater level. But most of the times it stays at middel of middel and quater levels. Any of you guys have a clue about this?
