I hope to come over to Sri Lanka this summer and have heard that there is loads of old unused and scrap British motorcycles from the 1940's to 1980's that are no longer being used and are lying around all over the place............I am interested is looking for and buying some when I am over as my hobby is rebuild old bikes and get them going again. I would have to try and ship anything I may find back home to Scotland. Can anyone who may read this advise me if this is true! It would be good also to get someone to help track down some bikes prior to my arrival.. I would be happy to pay someone to help with this. Also, would I fall foul of any export laws?
