Chris .....dont want to sound rude.......but I think some owners dont like messing with the car ...and maybe putting another stereo can be a problem right...........how are you going to match the speakers and stuff.Are you going to use the existing wiring

sean,,, I cannot understand what you exaclty mean by the car not in line with local channels. Can we make the existing Japanese set that comes with the car to recieve local channels with this device.I thought this for only hooking up your USB and Ipod to the current radio you got rather than go for a new system.

Do we have access to Paypal in srilanka.I was known that the government in srilanka had stopped all transactions in srilanka from paypal due to security issues . Has that been lifted now.Anybody Please enlighten me on that.

hi all, good topic after a long time,although this site is about cars. can anyone tell me what would be the price of a decent laptop which has wifi, 2 built in speakers and could run XP, i am interested in getting one fro my office and personal use, however do not have the cash to buy a brandnew one at the moment.is is it Ok to to buy these from ebay and amazon, can you trust them.Anyone who has brought down one please advice, your reply is very much appreciated. rameez

any inverter that can be connected to a 12V supply of your car is fine.I mean you will need to buy an adapter for the cigaratte lighter to connect it to 12v.However there was a place in Meegoda that did this....give me some time I will get you the contact details....Give me more details of the vehicle. There is nothing called car inverter.......I mean it is always the same inverter just with a more portable packaging.

1300 is better and to my knowledge a bit quicker than 1200.........anyone who has one can enlighten us please.

GTAm do you think there are spares for the FIAT in srilanka .....easily.The campus chap wanted a car which was easily maintainable..........I am also interested in the FIAT but it has kept me at bay because of the mechanics and spares in srilanka.

outlander i think that the agents for VW are no longer carmart they are senok automobiles, the ownership changed if I am not wrong,but anyway check and see. Apart from that I dont think they will be interested in cars like the old beetle and golf , i have never come across any owner of the beetle or golf who said that they serviced there cars from carmart even when they were the agents, even the richest ppl

anybody knows about the parts availability of KE 20, KE50.....etc , toyota engines in srilanka.Is it easy to find,no point in having a car and swapping an engine that gives you further trouble. How much will one be approximately.where can we get one.

will they be able to build an old dashboard from a lancer station wagon............1979 model, into good presentable condition.there are some cracks on my friends car and that is the only flaw in his well maintained car.I have heard that dashboard repairs cannot be done once they are cracked and finding a replacement is the only way, is this true.

MasterDon! however aren't those engines also quite old ,,,,and will be there parts for them.The reason why i want to change the engine is that the original cannot even take you upto 80KMPH ....which would be not worthy in todays standards.How about a march K11 engine.........but that is front wheel drive right.................

HI, I have this craze to get a Japanese engine fitted into a morris minor and use it as a daily runner.I would also like to have AC ,and this should be done with minimum cutting and chopping.I mean I would love to have the original shape of the minor.A friend of mine told me that minor parts are manufactured in srilanka, is this true.Anybody having a minor and what are the issues with regard to parts and maintenance. rameez
