  1. I have heard that Toyota 121 engine has a greater possibility of forming engine sludge in it. Can you: (a) give your views on this ( give suggestions to prevent sludge formation I was told by somebody that using 95-Octan Petral is bad, as it helps the sludge formation. How true is this statement?. If it is true, then all 121 users better change to 90-Octane rather than paying a premium price for 95- Octane which eventually contrbutes towards damaging the engine.
  2. I use a Corolla 121 1500cc Manual car. The previous owner has been using Mobil XHP but when I went to Toyota Lanka for the service, they put Toyota mineral oil. The earlier Mobil oil was just drained but the leftovers were not sucked out using any machine. I experience about 10km per liter now for colombo running. But the previous owner claimed to have done 13km per liter in Colombo. Could the drop in fuel economy be due to change of engine oil type. In your opinion, what is the best type of oil for colombo high trafic running?
