Wow... this thread is quite something.... heh heh... on a quick note about hybrids, saw a toyota alphard hybrid the other day, which could not be started... apparently the battery had died as it had not been started in a week... well the driver and some other guy were trying to jumpstart it...hehehe... they could only find the positive terminal under the hood...lol...so saw them connect the cable to the positive terminal and they did NOT ground the negative... the result as u can imagine was quite something never seem two men jump as high as they did... just goes to show what happens when u dont know what ur dealing with.... : )

All i was trying to do was let the members of the forum know that this thread has been read by him and Carmart... If i didnt state that he is a 'personal friend' then the credibility of my statement would be diminished as any joker can say a "Automobile agent has/is reading this thread"... Also i was stating the change in CEO for Sylvi's information... At no stage have i bashed anyone or reflected any views on the main topic of the thread so all i was doing was putting your concerns to the management and thus letting the forum know.... Yes i know.... I have owned a Honda Integra DC5 Type R in sri lanka and also used a Acura RSX type-s in the U.S... same body and look but totally different in mind and soul...u cannot compare them at all... hope u understand where im coming from... as for the mum and sister analogy, i think u misunderstood what i meant of it... : )

^^^ dont want to get involved in this little war but saying that Acura and Honda are the same thing is like saying ur mum and sister are the same person... yes they may have family links but are totally different in their own right! after living in the U.S i can tell you from first hand experience that the cross image between ACURA and HONDA are vastly different.... you cannot put the two names in the same boat! Acura have a niche market towards middle class luxury lovers where as Honda has a wider spectrum in terms of cheaper auto's and maintainence.... just my 2 cents!!

I know ive been away from the scene for a very very long time and Autolanka itself, but i couldnt help but think about the good 'ol days when the number one thread was the drags and all the entertainment it contained... lol Its a shame that alot of the old members and characters that once rocked the scene are no longer around.... YES all of you may put this down as a useless and no-point thread BUT you cant deny the fact that the old SOHC-DOHC battles, WRX-STi battles and pilla steps werent a bucket load of fun! How many members are on this forum from the days gone by? : ) ...just my ramblings.... feel free to enlighten me on the whats what these days and how you guys feel....its been close to 7 years since my first drag outing and to be honest i kinda miss it!

Went and saw the car yesterday... In lovely premium condition! Hats off to darin and BRJW for getting the car down regardless of how it was shipped... Was still being polished when i arrived but sitting in it (first time for me in a right hand drive) was quite amazing... car has done 5000km but u cant say at all... I do have pics but ill let the big boys take some and post later this week... cheers again!

Finally! I knew u were'nt kidding when u told me dude.... anyways BRJW enterprises are always good on their word! This is what good 'ol SL needs a nice set of cars again...thumbs up darin!

heh... he braked hard at the GP crossing, lost the rear, hit a tree, took it down, hit a light post, took that down too and car was done... simple

My mum was at the track and she called me as the accident happened cos she knew id be mad upset... so i knew bout 30 seconds after it happened... its a shame cos maneesh's subaru had spun and resulted in the 2 blue evo's smashing into him and all 3 cars had been lying across the track, my uncle saw the accident and braked hard and came to a complete stop in front of the cars...the track was so freaking dusty that dinesh im guessing did not see my car stopped and pretty much ploughed into the back of the STi... and thus shot the STi into the cars in front that were already in the accident... maneesh's car definelty took the worst impact...its a shame cos now we have 6 supercars out of racing for a bit...

... im speechless... just absolutely speechless... that track needs alot more attention... well looks like the supercars are gonna be out of racing for awhile...

my uncles running this rally... his white STi 5 RA tuned by darin... ...first time the car is out in competition so we're pretty excited! have fun to all the guys that go for it...
