What's wrong with the original buffers?They seem fine to me judging by the pictures.If there are rust spots get the tinker patch them up with copper welding and smooth out dips and dents using small hammer and file...Then have it rechromed. The cost of locally fabricating will most definitely exceed the cost of having a reproduction buffer brought down.And as CW said it'll be heavier too. If you're still intent on having them done locally send me a PM I have a couple of contacts.

Always apply clear coat seperately.I've heard some makabaases mix clear and base coats together but that is utter nonsense and defeats the purpose of the clear coat altogether.There is a obsolete trick where people add a little bit of the base colour to the last clear coat layer to get a certain look but that could go horribly and wrong and should be left to the most seasoned auto painters.

I don't know anything about that particular car but If you frequently drive on mountain roads or do long trips with passengers and a autobox is a must,I suggest you go for a higher capacity engine or a turbo diesel. I've done my fair share of long trips in 90s,early 2000s auto transmission cars with 1500cc or less and it was hell on earth for me.With passengers and luggage onboard overtaking was almost impossible and this one time an FB15 struggled to go up the road to N'eliya even with the AC off. But that's just what I've experienced with my driving style so they may suite yours just fine.
