  1. Good to hear from you Sylvi. I always appreciated your advice regarding windscreens on my classic cars. Here's to your good health and long life!
  2. Its currently under repair/paint. I'll post some photos when its done.
  3. That would be my Citroen 2CV.
  4. Ammo no. I ain't no architect. It was my old man. Correct Sylvi sir! I think you have met him also.
  5. Thank you. The house is mine, the car is not. But the two do go well together no.
  6. I'm babysitting (or is it Car-sitting?) member @milindu's baby this week. Some pics...
  7. @Pericles Periiii!!! Looks like the old gang is back together...almost. How how?
  8. Even if a certain colour develops a tinge, a good cut/polish will restore original hue. No paintjob job drastically changes colour unless due to sub-par prep work, incorrect mixing or the clear coat gone bad. Mr/Doctor Siripala, If only there was someone who tried to warn you about the sh*tty paintjob you were getting...Oh wait!
  9. LOL I have very little to do with anything. The decisions are made by much cleverer/senior committee members than I. Also the CCC has halted issuing any such documents now.
  10. I'm here! 😁 No P5 coupes here as far as I know. a couple of sedans. The classic car importation scheme is there, for now. Its just like regular car import(tax based on engine capacity), but you need to be a member and have approval of the Classic Car Club of Ceylon...my signature coincidentally, since I'm one the two secretaries of the Club. Since you mentioned the first gen CLS..here's mine!

  13. Dear Don

I've seen your comments on isuzu cabs and troopers. I need to know about their details. Specially fuel consumption, repair cost, and spare parts availability, i am looking forward to buy a trooper. In troopers i feel old trooper with 2.8l engine is small in body size than 3.1l engine having big bighorn model. I feel 3.1l model is laggy in power and may have bad fuel consumption. Please give your feedback. Thanksssssss....

And i would be pleased if you can give Isuzu contacts
