  1. Hi Isuru, My email id is [email protected] Cheers! Hey, I dont own it, its a part of the expat package I was offered by my employer. Wanted to get an Sti but the company wouldnt approve the purchase coz of the manual transmission, keep myself amused with the paddle shift on the civic. Cheers!
  2. Hi Isuru, The CFA is a very good program but has a very low success rate (abt 35%). Given that you have the IT skills, doing your CFA could land you a 'Quantitative Analyst' job with one of the Wall Street investment banks or even a Research firm like 'Amba Research' - Echelon towers. Alternatively, doing your masters in Econometrics or Fincl Mathematics instead of the CFA program is also an option. Check the links below for the current openings for Quants and the indicative pay scale: http://www.quantster.com/ http://www.hrg.net/1_quantjoblisting.html Cheers!
  3. Hi Sharkster, The 2.5L is for the Asian Markets as well. Infact the Agents here in Singapore do not carry the 2.0L anymore. Isuru, Check the link below for the differences between the two trim levels http://motorimage.net/SG/files/pricing_fin...g/pricelist.pdf Cheers!
  4. Had one when I was in school abt 8 yrs ago. Mine was Carburetted 4 spd, the new ones are EFI 5 Speed i) My car returned an Avg - 10 kmpl (Sales broucheures claimed test results of abt 16 kmpl) ii) Used my car for 2 yrs, Never broke down on me. iii) Trust me, U'll Have to stand on the gas pedal to hit 60 kph with the A/C on and 4 adults in it. iv) 2nd hand value is not that great. Unlike Japanese vehicles, Marutis Depreciate in LK.. ( I bought mine in India. Out there a new vehicle depreciates by 15-20% the first yr ) v) The body is fine, not really prone to corrosion. You can get a preventive underbody treatment done. Hope this helps Cheers!
  5. Dude, there is no better name than "Shaggon-Wagon" for a pimped out van.. You might have to lose the rear seats to accomodate a bed / leather couch..

  11. Hi Dilesh, I collect scale models and have bought most of them from Singapore. I have just started buying from Planet99 at MC. Maisto models are a lot cheaper than the Auto art because of the quality, and when it comes to detail, Auto art is light years ahead of Maisto. 8000 for an autoart is quite reasonable... if you look at the website (www.aa-collection.com) each of them retail between 75 - 95 USD + postage and handling which works upto 30 USD + Import Duty / VAT etc. A 1:18 EVO 7 Would land in lk at Rs. 13000/-... I Have seen scale models at the shops listed below but I think that Planet 99 at MC has the best selection: Lumala Gift City on Galle Rd ODEL Nastars - Liberty Plaza Xtreme Sport - Maya Avenue Arpico Cargills
