You may already aware that Toyota Harrier has it's Sports variant called Harrier GR Sports { GR = Gazoo Racing ). Recently there is some hype created in Japan with rendered suggestions for 2021 GR Sports version tobe.......!!! Though this is not official, Harrier fans can most probably expect GR version in time to come. Toyota is targeting it's GR Sports variants to compete with Mercedes Benz-AMG Line & BMW's M Performance segments. HI Zeristo, Thanks for your comments. Yep, you are correct. Actually even current 3rd Gen XU60 2.0L [without Turbo] is not that popular in Sri Lanka after 2017 duty revisions. That's why you hardly see XU60 face-lift [i.e. YoM 2017 and above ] models here in SL. So there is a high chance that XU80 might not appear here in SL, unless there is a duty revision. Regarding comment on Panorama roof; yes it's available in the current XU60 also. But the uniqueness of new model is nothing but it's a Dimmable Panoramic Roof. Electro-chromatic feature of the glass allows controlling the degree of light pass-thru, which Toyota claims for the 1st time they have implemented for a Panoramic Roof. ( uniqueness has nothing to do with electronic shade or Panoramic Roof ; as both features were there for sometime... so no hype to create !!! ? ) If you carefully see video attachment time stamp 1.35 & 1.40 you can observe the difference of dimmable feature. Also you may refer spec shared by Toyota for clarity. Thanks

Few unique things about new Harrier. 1. Instead of Harrier emblem as in previous generations, new model carries Toyota emblem on front grill. This can be an indication that Toyota's future plans to launch this model in other markets. Some claims that there is a chance to launch it in USA as Toyota Venza. 2. Long Range LED High Mount Rear Stop Lamp. 3. Dual exhausts 4.Digital Inner center mirror, used for the first time by Toyota, enables recording of images to the front and rear of the vehicle while driving. So no need of after market dash cams. 5. A panorama sun roof, used for the first time by Toyota, is equipped with electric shades and electro-chromatic windows. Dimming the windows fosters a feeling of quality as soft light penetrates the cabin. 6. Dedicated Communication Module (DCM) powered with MyToyota Smart Phone Application to Start the vehicle engine & Air Conditioner remotely. 7. XU60 Harrier owners with OEM Japanese audio head unit can change your FM tuner to full local FM band (i.e. FM 88~108MHz ) using below configuration change. Also 2nd video will guide you on how to change Navi menus to English.
