  1. It is a compatible with 24v system. I have already hooked it up and it lights-up but dose not show a reading as I have to connect one of the lines to the "W" terminal in the alternator, then I shoud have a reading or plus.
  2. Dear All, I got a new VDO Tachmeter, which I want to connect to my CJ5 jeep fitted with a mitsubishi 4DR5 engine. By the way the Jeep runs on Diesel, 24 V system But my problem is that the mitsubishi alternator has no markings on the alternator terminals. How do I find the "W" or "R" or "1" terminal to wire the Tachmeter. Is their a way to find-out the which wire gives out a plus. Tools I have = a light tester and a multimeter. Please help! Best Regards, Dinesh
