  1. Hi, One of my friends in Australia wants to send a used car, (Probably a unique car make to Australia like Holden) to Sri lanka for his personal use. What kind of import procedures exist in Sri Lanka now and is it really possible to import from AUstralia under the current regulations and register that in Sri Lanka? And what kind of tax will come under this? Please enlighten us with your ideas. Thanks all

AFAIK Honda EK3 original rim size is 13". Mine also has 14" rims and I also get the noises from the rear. massive "Thud" noise when I go over a pot hole with one or two people in the car....should be a worn bush...
  3. Bro, she is an absolute beauty!!!!! BTW the background looks like the cargo village of Katunayake air port.... Am I correct....
  4. Nice ride mate!!!! Congratulations....... One of the best beetles I have seen in SL.....keep it up.... :alc: :jumping-smiley-013:
  5. recently I came across the 2003 model Toyota Corolla 121s getting called "Pati Light" model, referring the 2 TRANSPARENT stripes in the tail lights.
  6. Go for the brand-new shocks.....yeah as Prami told KYB is the best+ economical.........dont ever go for reconditioned as you dont know to what extent they have been used..........
  7. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant believe this.......... very sad sight
  8. yes Rangerover bro, please let us know the tuning cost and the place. Im also looking for a good tuneup place at a reasonable cost these days. no clear idea about tuneup costs Appreciate if you can let us know.thanks
  9. very true!!!!! totally agree........ :angry-smiley-048:
  10. Samarasinghe Windscreen House is the best from my experience..............they know how to do it well........
  11. Luxel is the highest grade in 121 series Corollas came upto 2002. This is positioned at the same level as Nissans N16 model Sylphy which is 1.8L. The Luxel has all the luxuries possible in a corolla. A really good car I must say. Not sure about the 2nd hand market cos some of our sri lankens are scared of 1.8L engine no matter its VVti or what...lol... This Luxel has crome handles, triptronic gears, laced seats, all four disk brakes, original alloys and many more extras. Happy buy!!!
  12. bro Ruslan, these fog lights of yours are from Corolla 121's right? And if I can remember you have a Luxel grade corolla (122)!!!!!!!!! Machan an original fog light set would cost around 20,000 bucks according to you but I know a Taiwanese original type these fog light set cost around 6,000 - 7,000 rs max. I have bought this Taiwanese fog set few years back from a shop in Darley road, Rumal Motors. (please moderators remove this name if its against forum rules) and fitted that to our previous 121 corolla. They looked perfect. These lights are identical to the original lights and easily fits the lights bays on the buffer nicely. Mounting brackets are also given with the lights. Im sorry bro I have no idea who can clean these lights. But I suggested as above was because if its not worthy for you to repair for a higher cost, then you can buy a taiwanese fog light set and get that fitted for a worthy price as I told. Its the same shape, crystal as the originals. No one can say they are after markets. Good Luck!!!!
  13. Yes bro, this ATF circulates. So there could be a relationship between ur radiater issue and gearbox problem. Also checkout the ATF, cos if the ATF is not in good condition, that also creates gear shifting delays in auto gear boxes. The radiator under heating could be either removed thermostat or malfunctioning spring in thermostat or a related issue afaik. good luck
  14. Ya I would agree Swift/ Ignis is better than the Kei in many ways. But I should say if you are looking for a good fuel efficiency, this particular Swift/ Ignis model we are mentioning here is not the best car. It is very bad on fuel efficiency. Even with the 1.3L engine, just 9kmpl or max 10kmpl in Colombo. This is my own experience.
  15. Yeah, Devinda_Z is the most suitable guy who can help you out. Hope he will assist you soon.
