Correct on the Rim Diameter + Tire side wall Height = Outer Diameter of tire. In this case aspect ratio + rim diameter is same but section width is 165 vs 185. My understanding is maintaining same aspect ratio and increasing section width may have a slight increase in overall diameter of the tire. However I can confirm though I have used this calculator and have actually measured tires several times to confirm numbers and have not come across any discrepancies. May be OP can help us by actually measuring the tire.

I deal with Tires for a living. US Market is different to what we have in SL but the Chinese and Korean Tire Producers have made a huge impact over the past several years. Hankook is in par with Kumho which are Both Korean brands. Works well for the price. Nexen Tires are widely available as well. But I'm unable to comment due to lack of experience with the brand. Considered a low tier option in the US passenger and light truck market. Mostly compared with Chinese brands. Nankang is Indonesian i guess? Similar to GT Savero may be?? I once came across an unregistered Prado from a Car Sale getting converted with chrome body lines, "winker mirrors" and various other accessories at Elcardo Nawala. They basically take a drill out and start drilling away into the body with all sorts of chrome add-ons i guess to inflate market value or possibly to convert a GX into a TX or VX or who the hell knows. I am one of those people who always preferred a brand new imported vehicle with no "push start", winker mirrors, reverse cameras, parking sensors and all that panchikawatta add-ons. Very high blow out hazard when grooved closed to the belt package. Re-treading = (Re-building) the process of sticking a brand new tread liner to a buffed tire with a curing process in an autoclave.

A proposal to the moderators: how about we dedicate a separate tread only to share pics of members automobiles (minus any text), From Morris Minors to Corolla's to Beemers. It'll be great to see the vast array of automobiles used by our AL members in all Continents. Back in the day I remember how members use to share pics of their rides but it happens so damn rare now a days. For Example, MD's classics, Devinda's Z, Watchman's Gemini, Ripper's Ranger, VVTi's Alfa, Perri's VZR, SN's Jeep, Mini's Mini, JD's Tribute just to name a few.
