  1. Been stopped more than a few times by police lately, they seem to be looking for an issue and usually start off with "are you drunk" etc etc and finally ends with "your exhaust is too loud" and we have to take you to court. My car is actually pretty quiet though not exactly in standard trim. Does any one know the real story on this ? How do they decide what loud is? And is it really enforcable in court?
  2. Hi Guys.. I will be there with the S15... although I may be a little late due to some work issues. Its not the same car though.. I dont think you will recognize it ;o))
  3. You guys talking about the R33 GTS-T with the turbo upgrade etc? I think its out of action at the moment. Can any one tell me how long this event will go on for? I dont think i can make it at 2 Thanks
  4. Hi guys, Just wanted to correct some of the misinformation on this post. A consult check at the agents will only cost you just over one thousand rupees.. This is not charged if any repairs are needed and it is done there. 2500 charge is not for a consult session but a full vehicle check up.

Glad to hear it.. Lots of good times in that car ;o) I always regreted selling it. Did a lot of research on specs... there also may be a mod or two in there that you may not have noticed. Keep in touch and let me know when you guys are planning another meet... Would love to see GD 700 again. PS:I also have the original engine that came with that car with the ECU+harness in case any one is interested.
  7. ;o) ... I am kind of in the car industry so I have had a close look at this scheme. Personal choice end of the day I guess

  9. In my personal opinion its only worth the hassle if you cant to import a "special" car that went out of production over 3.5 years ago and cant import due to our import age restriction. For a "regular" car its a lot of hassle for a small saving. Would suggest that you pick something up from the local market preferably registered. There are plenty of cars around that people are stuck with and you should be able to negotiate a good deal. 10,000 permits were used to purchase brand new vehicles which means that those users old vehicles were dumped into the market keeping the price of registered vehicle low compared to importing a used car. Ex- Registered Nissan N16 - 1.7-1.8 million. Price of the same model imported today would be approx 3.8 million Although you would save on duty bringing in an older car, it would be more expensive than a registered vehicle in the local market.
  10. Hi Darin, Good to hear from you.. I am running no cat at the moment with 3 inch turbo back so considering this. How much did the Zero sports one cost? I am being quoted AUS$350 for an Aussie made one. When are you back?
  11. Hi , Pit stop uses Wurth which is also good. They now combine a throttle body cleaner with this treatement which is said to enhance the effect of the treatement. Cost for a 1.5L is around Rs.4600. If you do go there speak to the manager and tell him that Yohann sent you. There are no discounts on this but can arrange some special treatement. Let me know the result if you try it
  12. From the cleaners that are just put into the tank with a full tank of Gas.. Valvoline had the best result for me. However, running the car using the 3M injector cleaner(Any authorized garage can do this) had a far better result although it was quire a bit more expensive. Good luck
  13. VERY Very helpful and informative reply. Thanks so much
  14. Hi, Neither, It makes your emissions cleaner. Hopefully without killing too much power. I am hoping someone has some info on actual numbers.
