  1. Thanks. As I know my tires are tubeless, therefore can I still install inner tubes on my alloys?
  2. Thanks, rear-left one repaired for bent in rim. Will try to do the same for this & let you know the result.
  3. Thanks. Valves are ok, will try to find out manufacturing dates.
  4. Thanks for your interest. Not per day. once the air level is ok, it starts to dropping.
  5. Thanks Davy, As you mentioned front-left rim was repaired due to bad edge. Can you recommend me a good place to oxidization cleaning and sealing the edges. Hope it will bring my rims shiny look.
  6. I have a problem with left hand side of the tires of my car. Frequently the air level is dropping. First this was happend left-front wheel, when I checked the tire (alloy wheel) with U_H wheel at Malay Street. Tire shop guy told me there is a leak between the edges of the tire and rim. The alloy wheel was given some kind of repair by them and OK for about two weeks. However once again the problem is there. Rear-left alloy wheel also now have the same problem. When I checked for possible “patches” in the tires, they were ok. Can anyone help me please. Thanks.
  7. I was charged 15% VAT on my premium even after the court stay order on VAT implementation, given on 11/7/2016. When I complained to the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka they arranged me to refund the overcharged 4% of vat percentage (15%-11%) from the insurer. This is a very good decision as I believe many of us have been overcharged on VAT even after the court stay order to date. The IBSL ref no for my complain is IBSL/INV/16/09/226-2 & if you are concerned about refund of over charged vat (if any) you may contact you insurer with ref no since it may be the policy of IBSL on overcharged vat.
  8. that will be decieded when I get it. Thanks for your interest.
  9. Permits have been selling for ages. This is done by not only Govt Officers, but some politicos. I am speaking from Govt Officers view. When I consider the number of permits been sold, virtually no petition or something like that been inquired & disciplinary action been taken. Officers are keen about their jobs. Normally any officer who receive the first permit willing to sell to overcome the economical problems. He will get another permit after five year which may actually buy a vehicle. Once officer sell the permit both parties have risks. Therefore no one may like to raise disputes. Good understanding may benefit the both parties. Some of my friends have sold their permit, but never claimed the vehicle from the actual owner. I am not going to legalize an illegal thing. I saw a paper article that claim 90% of the permits are sold. This is a not a secret. A person wish to buy a permit must consider the economical benefit doing so. You can ask a dealer to quote the permit price and normal price.
