As far as I know you cannot obtain your first revenue license online.Even though they have mentioned that you can obtain it online will not work (only for 1st time) .May be it will work in future I went to RMV and obtained the license from there (first or second license you can obtain from RMV Narahenpita). If its a Hybrid vehicle this will work as you dont want to provide an emission test result (I called their helpline and they told me)

You can buy the SD card map form eb*y or Am***n for version 2014-2016.But I am not sure if you can find any SD card that contains SL map. Is that Tomtom or Navitel?

Thats strange.I am sure then the CRV navigation has some differences and that causes this issue.Green background is normal but I cannot understand why it shows only the southern expressway.

Regarding the Android auto, you can search on Google for Android Auto apk and download (Otherwise PM me and I will send) Install it on your mobile and connect the phone to your car using a USB cable.Car will automatically recognize it. You can use Google maps, your phone, Music...etc Enjoy!

My map has all the roads, petrol sheds, parking spots, hotels...etc Do you think that Civic navigation system and CRV navigation system is same? If so above method should work. When you search for a place, ex: WTC and start navigating what will be shown in the map? It should start navigating and places around you (hotels, fuel stations) will appear in the map.Did you try to drive about few hundred meters to see how the map is working?

It works perfectly. Regarding the first pic, As soon as I updated the map I took this picture. You cannot expect a map like in Audi.That is the reason why I have made a comment that I dont personally like the map but it is ok and works great. Your issue seems different @Susith007 I have no idea why it shows on Southern Highway.Where did you get the Sri Lankan map?

Shouldn't be the case.I have updated my civic 2018 and followed the same. Ah I know the reason. Once you updated your map replace that with SL map.This will fool the system and let you install the SL map without any issue.I did the same and worked

Hi Guys, As I promised you guys I have done the map update successfully and sorry I couldn't make a video.I supposed to record a video and realized that I haven't pressed the record button.My bad Honda Civic 2018 Here are the pictures I took while updating the map.Just to tell you guys it didnt take about 5-8 minutes to update the whole map. Process is very simple and straightforward.One thing I personally dont really like the map but for now its ok. I have tested the map and it works great.It has almost all the places and it can show parking spots as well. Any questions feel free to ask I will try to answer my best.

Sorry for the late reply Susith007. I have downloaded the map but I didn't have time to update it yet. Seems Dananajaya has successful update the map on his Civic.I am sure CRV should have the same navigation system.I think he is the best person to give us a hint on this. Once I done the update on my Civic I will update this thread again. Did you try to put the USB stick and open the navigation? As you have mentioned you can see the SL map installed (tick off all the other maps and only activate SL map) and it might required the pen drive to read the map.I am not sure about this but I am just guessing based on your comment above. Again I am not an expert in this but I am also keen to know how to update the SL map.So please take responsibility yourself when follow my/our/internet instructions. Thanks

When you go to My Maps section on your navigation can you see the Sri Lanka map? You need to activate the map you wanted to display on navigation.

I am using my Civic 2018 1.0L for about 2 months now.Regarding fuel consumption, it does 11-13km in city.Everyday I am driving through hell of traffic.I didnt have time to do a long ride yet. Since the day I bought it I have a noise when I apply break.Like a "braaaas" kind of squeal noise.Agent told me it is normal and let it run few hundred kms.Any of you guys has this issue?

You need to do the service in 1000km.Even though my one shows 22k oil life time agent asked me to do oil change in 1000km.There after every 5000km.Last week I went to S****rd and they recommend to do the oil change in 1000km.

This problem solved.There is a small door near to ideal valve control and they said it was hard to open and close.They simply cleaned the door and everything is perfect now.

I have replaced the petrol filter.when they do the tune up.I think I need to get checked and replace the idle controlling valve.

morning/when cold, does the RPM go above normal and then slowly come down as the engine reaches operating temperature? - Yes it works as you described.

I am not 100% sure what they did.But I saw they cleaned valves, throttle body and other parts.I am rather happy about the tune up as it was perfect and now car has much better perfomance.Only issue is this.Is this a expensive part and time consuming
