Did you do the Emission test at the same place on second time? if you did the emission test at Drive green, try to do it in a Laughs eco place. friend of mines 2016 Hilux (Brand New) failed at Drive green (Quite strange), but passed at Laughs Eco sri without any issue (Could be due to their testing tool malfunction or something else). on the other note, did you got a CEL? bit strange you failed the emission test without throwing a CEL.

Maintenance Wise Petrol will be easy to maintain, No DPF Cleaning etc. Newer Common-rail engines have issues with Local Fuel.

There should be a another fuse box located in the dash (Probably under the steering). Check the "Tail" fuse in that.

Even though Axio and Corolla (121) share the same Engine (1NZ-FE), most of the components in the Axio is totally different, for example Injectors, Head, ECU Map is totally different than previous Gen corolla. added CVT to that list you'll get a totally different car.

I'm Driving a 2006 Face-lifted Vios, Cosmetically front Grille, Headlights, Gauge cluster and Tail lights has some subtle changes over pre-facelift model. did the intermittent wiper modification using Corolla 121 Wiper switch. it's a plug and play mod. and only S Grade models came with Folding mirror option. but easily swappable on E grades as it's pre wired and only Mirror unit and switch (With Folding button) needs to be replaced.

Yes, you can replace it with H4 Rectangular Unit. wire loom will be same. just look around in Delkanda area. we did the same for Family owned Townace Van once. plus, you don't need a mechanic, unscrew the frame around the Sealed beam, repeat it with H4 Housing replacement.

I think 4DR6 is the same block of 4DR5 with Turbocharged with direct injection. So check the condition of the Turbo.

4DR6 would be straight forward swap as it will share among the J Series Jeeps (aka Safarai Model) as i herd, might want to swap the rear Axle as well because of the final ratio difference.
