As a User of a Previous Gen Vitara, new one doesn't even come close to the previous one (Was expecting some thing similar to Latest Jimny like vehicle but). but new one stands out from the rest of the CUVs like iRage said. bit sad we are not getting the 1.4 or 1.6 version here due to the insane tax structure.
-
Talking about Detailing, Recently Kleen*** quoted 27k for My Brothers IST 2007? ? thats of course for the full detailing job.
-
Personally i would stay with good ol Waxing (Stick to good brand like Meguirs). As iRage mentioned above it would be a mess once it started to show its age and start deteriorate.

Corolla 141 Facelift 2010 onward s. That's a bulletproof AT box. -
Good stuff Mizzy, where can you get the BG frigi clean and the cost please. This looks like DIY evap coil clean.
-
I Guess it's the prolonged humidity stuck in the evap coil (When you switch off the car) which makes the stinky odor. why don't you try an Active Carbon AC filter when you replacing one. i'm having fairly good results using one. got down from Aliexpress. hope it's not the rodents this time.

AWD is useful even when the road is wet and slippery specially during down pouring. Vehicle feels stable and planted. this is a First hand experienced on Vitara AWD.

Wow! Wow! Reminds me older build threads.. superb way to finish the year and Congratulations!! ☺️

Superb writeup. Compared To mine and as your input. it’s a completely different class of vehicle than previous generation of Grand Vitara / Escudo.

For me this is Too much sensors to fail. i like the simplicity of the Old Animal. not this Computer gizmodo. love the new Jimny Siera, oh well they thought other wise with the New Vitara, which doesn't even related to old Mule. Sad!.

True, found out that Toyota T-IV ATF is nothing other than re-branded Mobil 3309. and Valvoline Zerex Asian Vehicle Coolant is the supplier of Toyota Pink SLLC (Super Long Life Coolant).

s cross Suzuki S Cross SX4 Boosterjet 1.0L 2019 UK
Ruslan replied to Ahan's topic in General Automotive
Im not sure on this part since Brand New status can be stated in the CR for cars which got down by Authorized Agents (Unless this is imported by A*W). for parts, why don't you check with Wijerama area Part dealers (Few calls would do). i believe its the same engine (K Series Boosterjet) which shared among Baleno, Swift and Vitara. so apart from Body parts, i dont think it would be much of an issue for Running gear. by the way, is this is a AWD Model? for that Price, it's well worth it.- 6 replies

It's Not ABS System Resetting (Resetting and ABS Auto Bleeding is 2 Different Things). it's called "ABS System Auto Bleed". only Advanced Scanners (Launch Creed or OEM Scanners) would support this feature. General Scanning would not detect Air in the ABS Unit.
-
Have you Done the ABS unit bleeding using a scanner? i strongly advise do a better diagnostic before throwing cash to replace parts blindly.
-
Interesting, i don't see any issues if the conversion is done properly.
-
Hmm, isn't R2 is from Mazda? i know some times Manufactures use, different Manufactures engines for Diesel Variants, for example 3rd Gen Vitara uses Renault F9Q Engine in Diesel Variant. but check whether 1st Gen Vitara uses Suzuki Diesel or something else.
-
Adding to what Davey said, there's a Method to get rid of the Air in ABS Module using a scanner called "Auto Air Bleeding ABS Module". this will require a fully fledged scanner like launch creed or you might need to consult the the Agents. below link contains how it has been done. once this is done, air trapped inside the Module will enter the brake lines and you should follow the normal bleeding process (Pedal Pump or Vacuum Machine method) to get rid of the trapped air in the lines. you can do this in manual way by Slamming the brakes on a gravel road or ground (where there's no traffic) to activate the ABS and activate all the solenoids in the ABS module, but doubt the success.

I'm getting the similar figures (6.5-7.0 kml) on my Vitara which is a 2.0L AWD on similar route (Wijerama - Dematagoda OrionCity). i thought it was a gas guzzler. ?

try partsouq.com, megazip.net or amayama.com. partsouq contains the part catalog, when you enter your VIN. -
Toyota Vios 2004- different arrangement of the rear signal /break lights
Ruslan replied to AWP's topic in General Automotive
As Far As i know, there were no 2 Break Lamps in one housing. one is a Rear Fog Lamp (Most of them were rewire to act as a Brake Lamp by locals). could be a aftermarket tail lamp.
