  1. My fathers car got affected by this problem and I removed the fuel pump yesterday night. No visible fuel contamination. I collected some fuel to a glass bottle and let it settle but it didn't show any layers or water. I guess as some guys said the fuel density is the actual problem. Not water contamination. Drained the fuel tank. Painfully slow procedure with 4 aquarium air pump tubing. When I gave direct power to the fuel pump for a few seconds it vibrated a little. Hoping for the best and gonna go get some 95 octane fuel. The biggest problem right now is I only have 1/4 tank in my car. Not the best way to go hunting for good fuel . Luckily enough my bike still has a full tank which I pumped about 2 weeks ago.
  2. The only brand new CBR that was available recently was the CBR 150. This is a Thailand made one. I brought one for 320k around 3 years back. As far as I know Stafford at the time braught 25 bikes and I think they still have stock. Not sure though.
  3. I only got 5% discount from tass. But If it's my decision I would go to tass and get it just to be on the safe side.
  4. Check whether your radiator fan is directly supplied by the battery overriding the cut off relay switch.
  5. No I don't have a RPM meter. Probably because its a basic model. The acceleration is ok in my manual but I'm not sure about Auto cars.
  6. I have a 2000 1.3 manual one and it gives me 11 in city traffic.
  7. Hi Guys Do any of you know a good reliable place in panchikawatta for nissan spares
  8. I'm sick of all these guys on the road doing 40 trying to achieve 20kmpl.
  9. Where did you get the TOA hitemp for 650. I baught the same for 1500 about a year ago. Please tell me the location as I need to get one more can.
  10. Soooo true but sometimes some idiots pull extraordinary stunts making me loose my cool. Ruins the whole day.
  11. My wiring was altered near the relay and it was done simply by connecting the two wires together. If you don't see something like that I guess your issue is a bit complicated. Maybe the wiring was not altered at all and the issue is ECU related as you have mentioned. By the way I don't have a OBDII port in my car just the mazda specific diagnostic port. I heard MagCity has it but not sure. After rectifying the problem please keep us updated as it could be of help to us in the future.
  12. The problem probably is the relay is shorted get the fan working all the time. This is normally how our makabas guys do it. Thermostat plug clip is a 2 wire one and I think you have found the right one. To be sure check whether the clip matches the plug. Here's a link to an image of the plug. http://allmazda.net/crossimg/HELLA/B59318840A/1.jpg
  13. Hi Sorry I didn't see this earlier. The thermostat is located just below the input manifold in the driver side. If your fan is directly run by mains your fan relay is also probably overridden. This is mounted into the passenger side front fender. You can get an idea about the locations and the part numbers from the below link. They have the part catalog. http://allmazda.net/parts/DEMIO/ I bought the censor for around 4.5k from rainbow motors in panchikawatta. Tell me if you need more info to rectify your problem.
