    Indo Sri Lanka Kari Motor Speedway Racing Challenge 2006

    A team of Sri Lankan racing drivers selected by SLAS has gone to India on 2'nd February to participate in an international championship against an Indian team in Coimbatore.

    The Sri Lankan team comprises of the following members:

    1)Bri Ponnambalam – Team Director

    2) Mahen Madugalle – Team Manager

    3)Shehara Jayawardena

    4)Susantha Gunawardena

    5)Buddhika De Silva

    6)Dilan Senevirathne

    7)Dinesh Jayawardena

    8)Nalin Gunasekara

    9)Sajad Zuhaire

    10)Niroshan Pereira

    11)Ravi Mayadunne

    12)Rizvi Farouk

    13)Rohan De Silva

    14)Romani De Silva

    15)Devinda De Silva

    16)Rikaz Khalid

    17)Shirendra Lawrence

    18)Dejan De Zoysa

    19)Dilantha malagamuwa

    20)Ramzi Ahamed

    They will take part in practices on the 2 & 3 February, to prepare for the qualifying on Saturday the 4 February and Race Day on the 5 February 2006. All these competitors are well briefed and will bring a blend of experience and youth to this competition. This will obviously be a great fillip to motor racing in Sri Lanka, something the AMRC can be proud they have been instrumental in promoting.

    The Race Results (05/02/2006)

    There were 2 races, Dejan de Zoysa and Romani de silva were 2nd and 3rd respectively, Niroshan pereira and shirendra lawrence 4th and 6th in the other race.

    oops sorry madz not visiting but posting in the forum. some are Vtecced, max pane, nigel, crash.n.burn , glen , Fastest_exi. They do browse around but they don't post the way they used to.

    HEy Madz u are the 1 who decides the hardcore fans .....if im not a hardcore fan (I COME TO autolanka 1s a day tho) i would like to get tha sticka either by paying or ur decision..

    After u get tha rates and stikers done pls tell me I CAN GET MANY PEOPLE TO BY THEM ,,,

    I agree wtih mad max even i check the site daily but some of the stuff have not been updated which is a bad sign. Only active is the forum(which is dying down slowly) and the advertising. It would great if madz can do a weekly update atleast. And the drag pics are so old. Some of the key visitors have stopped visiting even and not taking part in the forum which is a bad sign. There should be frequant updates plus there some issues regrading thenew forum.

    Can u name some key visitor who have stopped? To my knowledge only the guys who have put fake e-mail addys in the old forum having issues activating their original Id's in the new forum. Other than that still having issues on new forum??? Could you please take it up separately on the feedback forum and I’ll try my best to sort it out..

    Hey guys,

    After advertising on Autolanka, It appeares to me as if a lot of people seem to be checking Autolanka than the classified section of the sunday papers.

    Madz how many hits do the site get per day? I think it's high time we went forward with the Mask campaign coupled up with media coverage

    Hi MadMax, we are getting over 100,000 hits per day and increasing (which is a good sign)…he he ya some how Autolanka has been quite popular among car enthusiasts & ppl who search cars for sale. Well ya advertising over the internet is now fast growing subject all over the word, and that has affected Sri Lanka as well. If the website is quite active and also having a good search engine ranking then don’t be afraid to advertise on it. Otherwise it just a waist of money... :lol:

    Hi guys, due to unavoidable circumstances the Autolanka opening ceremony to be held on Jan 27'th, 2006 has been postponed to Jan 30th, 2006 !!

    CAN I RESERVE ONE MADZ...COZ I WILL BE HAVIN A FEW MEETINGS... I WILL COLLECT FRM U LATER....PLEASE...PLEASE..MADZ

    Hay Sparco try to come on the opening day then you can get one free...else we will be charging the cost price of the sticker..(Anyway it won’t be that much dude)
