  1. Hi guyz, I finally brought a Perl White Toyota premio after inspection of 3 or 4 cars.. actually I searched for 2013 manufactured one but I accidentally found this 2015 one with low mileage.. however the car is all same. the car is perfect but I had to change the battery because the person who used this before me is in Italy and car was not started for long period, but he fully paid for the battery xD. before this premio I drove a vitz 2016 for 2 years and this is much better than that. The seats are super comfortable and driving experience was super smooth, well I pretty happy with car and specially I want to thank you guys very much! you guys are helped me a lot! Thanks very much!!

  3. Congratulations. Look sooooo good. Yes changing the battery is very good. Might want to check tires as well. Not only tires might have flat spots for not moving but also rubber might have got close to expiry time as well.

  5. I think the jury is still out but the chances of picking up the virus from a metallic surface like a car is very remote. I certainly wouldn't bother washing the car every time I drive it. I would however wash my hand thoroughly when I am done with driving. The CDC has published a paper confirming that surface based transmission is very low compared to live person to person contact / proximity to an infected person. I would definitely run the car for about 1/4 hour every 2 weeks, even if it is just to start the engine and move it around a little. Car will come to temperature pretty quickly in our climate. Investing in a trickle charger might not be a bad idea considering how expensive batteries are. I won't worry about fuel much. Yes they break down and leave deposits but that takes quite a long time. I recently started a car with ancient really rotten petrol. It needed some encouragement but once started ran fine. Note it was a carb car and yes the carb needed a clean. If you have high pressure petrol injection I would be a little bit more concerned.

  7. Yes ! I saw some guy advertising the facelift on one of the FB groups. Not sure if anyone has actually done it Now..lets talk about what you can do to her Yes on the wheels ! Slightly wider please Do not get those cheap Chinese fake ones ! Get a proper brand...Japanese ones are a bit pricey if you go brand new but used ones are affordable. There are quite a few good Malaysian brands as well. Wait till your tires get worn out or tires show signs of fatigue to do the swap I would say lower her about 2cm - 4cm..the visual change is pretty drastic but the ride might be a bit harder than now and I get the feeling you would to appreciate it.

  9. yah I brought this as addition to Vitz ….well in handling Vitz is obviously easy cuz its a smaller car and turning radius is also law but Premio is also easy to handle than I expected...but the driving experience is way better , driving is super smooth than the Vitz and Alto I previously used. And the engine sound is also very law..I felt like I was driving a Hybrid LOL ?

  10. If you are using the car only in City, has no intention of going up country with full up. For you car is a tool to get from A to B and does not derive any pleasure from driving by all means go ahead Pay Rs. 500-600K less than what you would have paid for the 1.5L, that would be the price you will get at resale. I'm taking resale as that would be the priority of typical Axio / Premio / Allion buyer

  13. A pretty good and detailed analysis above by iRage. I agree with it. I have owned and driven a Toyota Mark X for 7-8 years. I have driven it from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur and back many times which is about 350-400kms one way. I have even driven from KL to Singapore, back to KL and to Singapore again in same day in Mark C and I never felt tired driving sitting position is very comfortable I used Bridgestone tyres which were comfortable too I have also driven some other cars like Audi A4, A6, Lexus 250, BMW 523, Honda Accord, Subaru Legacy, Camry etc. But the car I enjoyed most was the Mark X. It’s a really enjoyable Car to drive if you enjoy driving. All other cars I mentioned are pretty good to drive too but may be it’s me, I enjoyed Mark X the most. Another Car I really love driving and enjoy much better is Audi A7. Hope this helps.

  14. Congratulations and wish you many happy kms with your new ride! How is the fuel economy? Do a tank-to-tank fuel economy check next time you refuel the vehicle

  18. Definitely Nissan 1.5L CVT is extreamly efficient with my experience. As for Civic 1.5T CVT with my experience it was little fun for a CVT trans when Traction control is off. I was able to get little wheel spin. However couple of time i felt something like a slip when i brake torque to get some faster acceleration. I don't know if the 'brake torque' is the correct term I was pressing brake pedal and gas at the same time to get higher revs before i let go. This is when I felt the slip on a new car. Again I don't know if its a slip on transmission or is it from brakes.

  21. My Montero Sport Saved my life today. Took a T bone collision to the rear quarter panel, from a lorry, the thing came straight to the drivers door. I accelerated and saved my self, just got discharged from the hospital after a checkup, No matter what new fellas say about crumple zones and what not, this thing is proper weight to weight. Just realise how strong these suvs are. Just a large bump and I drove it home. Amazed realising it took tg awhile weight and was shoved to a side. The lorry was a proper mahiyangana sand lorry, full load, the c**t was driving on a learners permit, couldn't control his reverse into the construction zone, lost control and rolled right onto me down a slope, face first. If I was in my vitz or a smaller car, I'd be in a morque now. Cops took over the lorry momentarily but I deferred them. Repair cost approx 100k, given I need a new wheel arch and tail light. And its pearl white, expensive bitch to paint. Despite my parents and friends deciding to ruin his life legally, the driver is in the hospital after negotiations but I am not pressing charges or taxing him for the repair, as he will loose his livelihood and be in jail. Best part is, if the car rolled over, I would be in the mahaweli river. Dear friends, please give up smaller cars when money permits. Get something large and safe. Due to privacy concerns I am unable to share pictures.

  24. Well..considering the economic losses the country is taking and is going to be taking over the next few months...we will be lucky if it is only for 1 year. But, if it really does help the country and help with the valuing of the LKR..is it not worth the sacrifice in the long run ? If the ban does go through, I hope the government will take advantage of the pause and implement strong guidelines and regulations before the market is open again and all kinds of crap start flooding in.
