  1. You still didn't buy the Montero is it? Again you are comparing 2 very different vehicles, very different in character Matter of taste and budget, The Peugeot is a fancy town oriented SUV, agent support is not yet commendable Reliability in our country is questionable, yet to see But looks cool and fancy, it's the trend, Trends don't always go well, ie vezel, micro suvs No idea how much Montero is a old school, nut and bolt type suv Reliable, tested, parts ample, can run it even 400000km and expect very few issues, Will hold 80% value at minimum Anyone can fix em Dont go behind others recommendations, go see both cars, see what you can afford, not just to buy, to insure and run as well Fyi a colleague got a 3008 about 4 months ago, hes burnt a led headlight, importer refused to replace, so currently negotiating with some party to get one down on his account, but he ain't complaining, personally its appalling to see such a costly car losing a heavily engineered led in such a short time. Running around in one light and having a ball with cops as well,

  2. Honda Fit GP1 is very good car to own and very trouble free Hybrid Car (may be it is mild Hybrid). Compare to other cars in this price range most of hatchbacks like Vitz, Passo, IST, WagonR, Swift, Mira, Alto including Hybrids and Petrol cars GP1 is way ahead in regard options, Comfortable, Driving Pleasure, even it way ahead with most popular Toyota Aqua. I owned GP1 one and half year now and it never give any single trouble for me. The price is GP1 is low presently and worth the every bit of money comparing above mentioned car prices (Some are very older than GP1 and still has very high price) If you refer Japanese website for recall it clearly mentioned the manufacture date range as follows. GP1-1200002 to GP1-1242186 May 10, 2012-August 2, 2013 When searching to buy a GP1 i found lots of cars 2012/2013 manufactured and falls withing recall range and all cars in 2011 out of range. So i went for 2011 minding safe side and regardless newest manufacture year. So try to avoid recall range (Except current owner repaired the oil burning issue and produce evidence of repair) When searching to buy a GP1 i found various trim levels and versions in GP1s (Basic model with less options like key starts, 10th Anniversary Model, Navi Premium Model, Fine Style Model, Anniversary and Navi Premium with Original Mugen Body Kits. etc. Navi Premium Model is the Highest grade GP1 and it has lots of extra options like 7 Speed Paddle Shift, Dual Multi function Steering Wheel, Intelligent Smart Key, CoolBox, Climate Control AC , Cruise control , Traction control , Alloy wheels , Fog Lamps , Seat Heaters,Auto Head Lights , Retractable winker Mirrors Original Honda navi premium Audio System with Reverse camera, DVD Bluetooth & Navigation. Windscreen & Side mirror heaters etc. Currently most of GP1s falls in same price range regardless above extra options. So try to find highest option out of recall range GP1.

  3. Buying a 260 at that price point is like copulating with a call-girl from Swaziland. You're better off looking for a 240 in good condition - one with proper registered owners (ideally) and verifiable maintenance records. If you end up buying a dressed up 260 that is rotten underneath whatever fuel savings will be negated by a massive repair bill.

  5. @Roshan321 both your depreciation examples are probably the worst cases in SL market. BMW X1 - euro crossover and Harrier - 3.0 gasoline engine. Here they are targeted for the folks who doesn't really care about resale value. and honestly, I don't think they are worth at the price tags. You are dead wrong, they already make good vehicles, but not with unicorn tears and magic, but with actual engineering and materials. Whether it's China, Japan or Germany, technology is expensive irrespective of the place. you simply can't put all that 580 features well built into that price point (I'm talking even considering the SL assembly - tax reduction too). And the countries the 580 is being sold also have the same market dynamics. The Chinese do run some good market analysis. I think the best thing to do now is that you buy this car as clearly you are impressed by the features and the value for money factor. After that, please do a detailed review of your experience. Maybe we are all wrong, who knows. UN*MO is running a special promotion these days for 580 as I saw in one of the showrooms. apparently it's 5.35mil instead of 6.1mil. So go for it.
