  1. Guys, Hope every body is so busy with your rust buckets. Anyway, please spend few minutes for me as well....? These days I am looking to buy a decent Morris Minor Traveller Wagon and restore to original spec. Planning to do the whole body work, painting and interior work to the original spec. I may need to spend a lot of money for that...... So I am looking for a specimen below 2 lakhs to start the job. If you know any thing good, please PM me. Thanks.....

  2. Yeah it looks like the original colour of that Town Ace was beige and painted in blue. The unique part of the chassis number appears to have been masked during painting as Twin Turbo said. The chassis number should also be printed on the info sticker in the passenger side door jamb under "FRAME NO". You can check the original paint code from there as well.

  4. Welcome to the forum Mithz07 Haven’t heard or seen one yet. I checked on Google and wiki. Seems to be made in India. Therefore don’t have high hopes in the build quality section. Anyway Hyundai and KIA are not as good as the japs when it comes to build quality. But seems to be having lots of bells & whistles. Best thing is to visit the showroom and do a test drive. Cheers p.s- I checked the Hyundai SL site and it shows that the Creta is equipped with dual clutch transmission, which is similar to the one in Vezel. Those dual clutches tend to wear out much faster than single clutch ones, typically around 80,000-100,000km mark in the Vezel. Anyway the Vezel is made for japan, a country with cold weather and the SL heat is a major issue for this excessive wear. Since the Hyundai is imported by the agents, the system might be specifically designed for Sri Lanka.

  5. Saw some moisture in my tail lights after the heavy rains and weird climate. That’s normal and will evaporate during the day assuming it’s just moisture and not like a large collection of water. If you’re having halogen headlight assemblies, you may notice a tiny ventilation hole (it’s really tiny) somewhere in front. Not much water can get in, but you may have the occasional moisture build up if it’s hit head-on with a high pressure hose. By the way, does anyone have like a tiny fluttering noise from the Aircon while it’s running (not when just the fan is working)? Thought it was the belt, but there’s no noise from outside or the engine area, just inside the cabin. Got the cabin filter cleaned as well, but it’s this faint noise like some paper whistling about.
