  5. Well..at the end of the day its totally up to you as you are the only one who knows what the car is like and how it gets used and will be used. If I brought down a car which I selected in Japan (where I would know what the actual mileage of the car is, trust when it was last actually service, etc...), based on how I would use the car, I would just do in the lines of what the agent says....just do a basic inspection just to make sure that nothing has gone wrong under the new running conditions.

  6. There are things that are worth going to the agent for. This is certainty not one of them. It's just a small piece of plastic that houses the key fob.

  7. Well...what did the agent recommend ? or what do they recommend for vehicles that have the same engine ? If the agent says it is not needed then you can just stick to what they do. I checked the Mazda Japan website as well. Go check this page : http://www.mazda.co.jp/carlife/service/care/packdemente/ Check under the section for new car owners for a 3 year maintenance schedule (until the first Shaken inspection). You will see that there is no oil change for the first 6 months of the car's life (i.e. that would be translated to about 5000~6000km). then a filter change at 12 months, etc...so you really don't need to worry about it (provided of course you trust the car you bought). Like I said..the whole change oil and detailed inspection at 1000km is kind of an old time thing to do.

  8. buying a 121 in 2018 is like going on a date with Sumana Gomes. Seriously - i went car hunting 3 years ago and i checked out dozens and dozens of these cars almost all the 121's were abused piles of crap painted over with horrible plastic 'G' badges stuck here and there. Allions were slightly better off but still worn out...the 141s were actually quite good. To me it's a no brainer 9 out of 10 time's I'd pick the 141 ...on the 10th I'd pick a 141.
