  1. First things first I suggest you change the topic to Something else. Don'tuse your name as the subject no body will know what it's about and only someone who is a bit curious will respond to this thread. Change it to something like Corolla 121 Vs Tiida vs N16 or something Next out of the 3 cars you mentioned 121's are the most overpriced, abused, tampered cars in the country and are decades old. It's supposed to do good on fuel but with a really old car that has been abused to death , the odo reset half a dozen times and has had more users than a budget-friendly prostitute from Dehiwala ,fuel figures will vary. The Tiida's the newest out of the lot - if you're ok with the looks it ain't a half bad car. my bro had one for 2-3 years and it was a decent ride. there are quite a few brand-new imported ones around and if you get hand on one i think it's a good deal. in my opinion Tiida>Sunny>121

  2. well resale value is a fickle thing that we cant predict . Historically to be honest it won't sell as easily as a Premio cos of the whole sri lankan toyota obsession . But you will be able to sell without 'loosing too much'.... but if i were in your shoes i'd get the Mazda - have traveled quite a bit in a friends mazda 6 and that thing is in a class of it's own!

  3. Davy is right. Consider an SR16 variant if you are interested in a SR motor. DE or VE.

  4. Wow! The last batch of Jawa 250s in Sri Lanka was assembled (they came in crates) and sold by my dad! (Rest his soul). Those were directly brought down from Czechoslovakia. This was in the late 80s when I was a little kid. He had plans to bring down more Jawas but that didn't work out thanks to the country's volatile political situation at that time. I've been trying to track down at least one of the bikes but with zero luck. Glad to see this post... As for your question, no one imports Jawa spares and I don't know if there are any breaker yards that have bits and pieces. But in India, Jawa bikes were locally manufactured and sold as Yezdi. The parts are bolt-on. I have a bikie friend in India. If you can PM me what you need, I can ask the bugger whether he can find it somewhere.
