Hi Paul, Welcome to Autolanka. Sorry to hear of your transmission failiure, you must factor in the cost of replacement / conversion cost and the usability + reliability you'll get from the repair. Do check availability of parts for the manual conversion before dismantling the vehicle. Cheers TT.

Yes (indirectly). uneven tyre wear (due to bad tie rods, bad rack ends or incorrect wheel alignment) shows lack of attention. so owner can not say it is a well maintained car.
