  1. I went and got engine guard fixed from them. I have already complained about issue not getting fixed and not allowing to see repair getting done. That is before engine guard incident so I have already submit another complain on that. This post is merely to educate others.

  2. If it is connected (and not bypassed) then it should work or you would get an oil pressure alarm. You will have to refer the issue back to those who did the overhaul and seek a solution from them.

  3. The Swift Sport doesn't have flared wheel arches, so the 16" wheels would sit fine provided that your width and offset is within given tolerances. If I were you, I'd try to find a set of wheels that have the exact width and offset of the Swift Sport wheels. This means you can use the tyre size that comes with the Swift Sport. As a result, you will not have any issues with speedometer and odometer readings.

  4. Hello DKing, I suggest you to read some old threads which discussed pros & cons of this. Here are some links for you. https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=165-70r14-185-70r14 http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-Size-Calculator

  5. Nice find....is that silver ? or is it black but shos as silver in the picture ? As for the limited numbers...I am 99% certain that I have seen Japanese magazine articles claiming that Mitsubishi made 800 Super VR4s. I can't remember if it was referring to 800 units of both Galant and Legnum Super VR-4s or 800 each of the Galant and Legnum variants. If it is the former,800 units of both, then it could be that there were 250 Legnum Super VR-4s made (as the guy was talking about his Legnum). I can't find the original articles I am referring to but by doing a quick google search Wikipedia says that 200 Super VR4s were imported to UK...so to be honest it can be up t any of those numbers. Also came across the Japanese press release for the Super VR-4 and it doesn't say anything about limited numbers. http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com/jp/corporate/pressrelease/products/detail638.html Also, at this time, was this still the base for the WRC ? If so then Mitsubishi would have had to make a X number of production vehicles of the rally car; however only 800 might have been sold ?

  6. When you rev the engine in idle does it cool better? (I'm guessing not) The reason why it cools better when you are moving is because fresh air hits the ac condenser better and the condenser cools off easily. When you are idle and sitting in traffic the condenser is surrounded by hot air from your own car and those around. Sometimes something simple like dirt on the condenser can cause it to be less effective. Try washing the condenser with a pressure washer and see if it improves. And check the state of the condenser fins, see if they are bent.

  8. Hi @Davy, Thanks for the reply. Well I felt like these advisor people are not that experienced. I thought of going back to same place but I doubt I'll get something half fixed again. Those mechanics are too damn lazy and most of all I don't like keeping me blind while my car is getting repaired. It is not that I'm going to disturb the workers. I just want to see what they are doing and whether they are installing new part that they showed me. Aththidiya Pitstop is recently started. So their crew might be still newbies. Just wanted to know whether work process is similar in other A*W workshops.
