  1. I was a happy eg8 owner for 5 years and sold it 5 months back. The thing about the higher price of the spare parts is not exactly right. If you know the places to look for spare parts, sometimes you'll find them even cheaper than toyota.(I replaced the complete engine ,a non vtec D15B for 40k about 8 months back.) Try to find a one with non rapped interior.

  2. Yes crosswind you are right..There was a guy who got a lease from Commercial Credit for a Jaguar which was manufactured in 1979..According to him interest rate was 24%. I'm not quite sure why they are giving leases for high risk vehicles which finally lead their fitch rating to go down.

  3. For utility on a budget and as a first car, The Kelisa was mentioned on the forum several times with high praise. Maybe worth having a look at?

  4. That's why i replied to your previous thread to follow your instinct and go for eg8...keeping eg8 back of your mind and seeking advice will make you more fed up. Do a good market search and get down a well maintained eg8, lancer CK1, CK2, Mazda Famila Butterfly model.. all within your budget. If you want to feel more fed up of drive comfort, handling, and other options go for an Indian car..indeed you will get a good fuel consumption.
