  1. If you can find out the part number for the beading amayama.com might have it for lot cheaper (genuine). Got down rear trunk beading for around 6k.

  2. Watched "The Bridge on the River Kwai".. The movie was filmed in Sri Lanka in 1950s.. A friend of mine told me "denawaka hamine" is acting in that movie.. she must be very young by that time but i couldn't recognize her face in the movie.. It is a good movie and it features some nice shots of peradeniya botanical garden at that time..

  4. #1 You say you did your homework when buying a car. I presume homework means listening to experts like iRange on the forum. But what good is your stupid homework if you dont listen to people who know better than you. iRange wasted his time on you indeed. And you're buying a aqua. Every kolla and balla has one and its not hard to find a used one in sri lanka to fit your budget. But if you wanna show off your "unregistered car" due to vanity, dont try to justify it. Just say it out loud. #2.If you can barely manage to afford the car how do you plan to spend on repairing it? and like the experts say you dont know what else needs to be replaced. #3 When you ask for advice dont ask friends. They maybe friends, but that doesnt make them experts.

  5. I' don't why you are checking in the form if you have made up you mind & trust your friend will not screw you up. Isn't this questioning is redundant.

  6. I had actually used Garmin GPSs (not Sat Nav, just the GPS) about 8 years back when I was in radio transmission planning for a telco. Also I've used Garmin Sat Nav when I was in Oz few years ago, so when Davy mentioned about Garmin Sat Nav being available in Sri Lanka now, I was more than elated. Went to the Garmin showroom/office in Navinna and pulled the trigger on a Nuvi 55. Cost was a hefty 23k but that's still less than the price of a Prosat and far below the price of a Dialog Sat Nav. Drove with the GPS for just 6km so far, from Navinna to home. Apart from the fact that the device is not user friendly (typical Garmin), everything seems to be bang on target. Thanks for the input guys, especially Davy. I'll post a full review after using it for a few days. Might be helpful for autolankans.

  7. You remembers me a guy in our A/L times. He was attarcted to a girl at rotary class driven by a Presea and the guy started admiring both the car and the girl at the same time. We used to call him "ado presea mehe waren"

  9. I've used both cars. A 1997 Mazda 323 and then a 1998 Presea R11, which I'm using to date. I've had the Presea for nearly 3 years, and definitely would say that the Presea is a much much better option than the 323. Comfort, looks, space, power and fuel economy vice, the Presea is a great deal over the 323
