  1. Hope you are aware of the full-face helmet ban effective from 21st of march. Many riders have a concern on public safety. There is an event happening on the 15th of March at Galle Face Green. https://#####/1560056307586891/?fref=ts

  2. I'd say go for a FD1. Prices are almost the same but more features. A bit hard to find though. I'm still looking for one as well...lol

  3. You can't expect the security guard making Rs.15,000 -20,000 to put his life at risk to save the bank money which is already insured. And rightly so, you don't see security guards throwing that much (or any) resistance once the perp shows brutal agression in his entry alone. I recently saw an unfortunate CCTV clip of a bank manager who resisted being shot (IIRC). If I was a bank employee myself, I would STFU, sit my ass on the floor and let the robbers do whatever. My family and loved ones will me miss me more than the bank will miss its money. I too agree that whats needed is infrastructure based security like the double door system zebra mentioned. Instead what happens is that the banks rent the cheapest shop space they find and set up shop and pay some random bloke peanuts and hand him an antique gun (which he never shot even once even in a training) to create a sense of security. And as for the helmet law, the best counter-argument is to go into a bank and make a scene (maybe flash some female employees) while wearing an underwear on your head. Once it hits the headlines, ask the police to ban underwear too! (idea credit: facebook/meme)

  4. They are both based on the same platform and engine. Yes it is a bit worse than the Fit due to the extra weight, but can it be that bad? Yes it also not that fuel efficient compared to a smaller car, but I would argue it has good economy in it's class. Don't forget it is a Honda so it is well made and has good handling. Only problem i see is the people buying them,, People with gold watches, gold chains and gold badges.....

  5. Bumping this old thread to share this video: Didn't know that they actually do a lot of local work on cars before they're put on the road. Wish the documentary was more technical and in more detail.

  6. Come on dude. The guy asked a legit question..Why are you derailing other people's threads while wanting to keep yours on topic...You don't have to reply to every thread you know. Sadly that's the state of AL forums these days...'balla piduru kanneth ne, kana gonaata denneth ne...

  7. micro is planning a factory in guyana as well, and the agreement was all signed two weeks back. I personally know one of the partners for the venture in guyana since he is a client of mine. They had visited the factory here and mentioned though hand built its of top quality, turns out ten cars per day. The factory in guyana will churn out the trend intitally and roll out the other models, so we can indeed be proud as Sri Lankan when we see a micro in the caribbean!

  8. My minds still tells me that Dr. lawrence perera should've started with commercial vehicles first (Trucks, Buses, Cargo Vans etc..). maybe he could've done something like D*MO batta (small Diesel Truck) these kinda vehicles are big hits in rural areas.
