Ashan was already turning into the corner when you were locking up and had already committed to the corner by the looks of it. On this occasion It looked like a racing incident to me. Did see you going sideways in duke street!! Would like to see the other camera angle to see how you corrected.. Either way I'm glad a a scooby won!

AFAIK the three letter number plates are still for trishaws only... but theres a word going on that it'll come upto other numbers as well coz even in the car category also its now KX is registering.....

@nano31 and @schiffer thankfully I do not understand a word you tow guys are on about Thanks everyone for all the inputs here and for the two pals who even called me to impart some knowledge and experience. It certainly was all very educational for me. Much appreciated. I'm glad to say that I went for the LG 42 in the end. Like kush's advice I suddenly saw a Singer 47" non-Smart 3D LED next to the 40" Samsung 6 series and for about an hour I was convinced that size in fact does matter . I thought to heck with the Smart features, 7" is a massive difference and 70k saving was as attractive. However the longer I sat there the more I noticed the difference in the picture quality of the two. This was due to the superior "Frame Rate" in the Samsung I was told. 400 vs 100. Seriously the quality of sales people is so poor. They should have educated me about this months earlier with simply going on with "Samsung has the best quality" mantra. Regarding the reliability issues I did a more inquiring and found people who had recently bought LG TVs and have had them for 2 and 3 years and were very happy. And further research showed that in the recent past LG had many issues with LCD TVs. TBH I never like the LG brand for some reason maybe because it had what I thought a crappy name called Goldstar. From the time LED's hit here I wanted to buy Samsung. Never liked Abans too. Being a stockbroker by profession I've compared Singer SL with them many times and I know which is the better managed and investor friendly company in every way. If a company is less investor friendly the chances are that they will be less customer friendly too. Therefore the other SoftLog was totally off my list. Anyway yesterday for the umpteenth time I went around to have a final look. Finally went to see the LG again. It matched the Samsung 40 in every tech feature and bettered it in one. I can't recall what it was nor do I know what it does, but it was nice to know. However the clinchers were the extra 2" on the LG (incredibly quite a visual difference) and the Rs. 13k price deficit. Paid and signed up, they said they would deliver and install it this evening. However they surprised us by delivering it yesterday itself. Installation happens today! Really excited.

Why do these Sinhala commentators keep trying to give sermons? Here is nerve wracking epic battle between Darin, Ashan and Janaka and some F*ktard sinhala commentator cuts in and preaches the differences between a Subaru and an Evo! Whether its Cricket or motor racing, these F*ktards are adamant in doling out their idiotic sermons on their merits of virtuous racing/cricketing instead of focusing on the game! Reciting "eyai visheshatthwaya" "eyai visheshatthwaya" on and on like some damn parrot. i braked late and the car lockerd up but finally when i did turn it in i got hit from behind so hard the engine stalled. And lap 1 going into duke street i got hit so hard u can see the car going sideways i dont know how i held it together. anyway enough of this hitting bs, and i ve been controlling my actions alot recently and trying to be the educated individual i am. one more time someone hits my car intentionally i ll settle it then and there even if it means getting banned and ending my racing carreer. frankly everyone close around me thinks i m stupid to race with people who dont act like proffesionals. And handling pressure is all part of the racing game and i couldve driven 100 laps like that as its not sebbastian vettel following me, that would be pressure. Last year the same individual overtook me on the yellow flag at the same corner and said he didnt see. And wanted me to protest, i dont protest and win races. janaka dias drove really well and i enjoyed him chasing me for 7 laps, sometimes i braked so early to slow him down but he always avoided contact. he deserved the win. thanks to all the al members for there support and encouragement

How was the Colombo Nigh Races?? Give us some highlights of the event.. What could have been done better?? Nicest Car? Issues & Crashes?? etc.... Why are we not talking about such a big event which just got concluded?? .
