  1. Get the tyre replaced. Even a used tyre from a tyre shop will be better than trying to repair a tyre with a broken side wall

  4. Your nickname and your choices suggest that u might have an affinity towards euros. How about a peugeot 206? U might be able to get a pre-english number manual one for your budget. Contrary to the popular belief its not difficult or too expensive to maintain any of those cars, as long as u dont land with a lemon. For parts, u always have ebay if nothing else works out. So stop listening to car mudalalis and car baiyas and go with your heart :-)

  7. If you want a Hot hatch I would suggest an EP 82 Starlet GT. But it's slightly above u r budget. But if you want a normal hatchback go for a Nissan March K11 or Starlet EP 82 if you don't mind a two door car go for a Corolla 2.

  8. EP 82 would be a good option in terms of maintenance and fuel consumption. Or else a K11, not so good with fuel.

  10. Hi Shan, I had a similar problem with Axio. I took it to car c(a)re Babalapitya. The same way when driving no issues but when the vehicle is still and if you turn the steering a strange noise comes. Just they lubricated the horn bracket with a heat resistance grease (the pink color one ). Maybe you have the same problem.

  13. Why bother with mundane boring cars? For your budget you can get hold fo a good Euro with far better option. Mainetenance costs are not as bad as people who use Japanese cars would like you to think. Pugeout 406, 605, even a 206 will be within your budget. Early model year BMW E36 316s/318s Alfa Romeo, 155, 164 can be bought for around 1.0-1.2 Mn All are excellent cars and are sporting breeds. Unlike the standard Family sedans listed as options for you. THe difference is most o fthese cars has less users, the owner would have looked after them far better han a Jap car, and depepnding on the user, aonly original parts would have been used, plus only the agents would have lookd after them.

  20. Seriously do you really need to ask this question? Just go to darley road. Next thing we know someone will come here asking where to go if they are losing the wind in their tires....oh wait....

  21. Seriously you have to ask for more places? why? are you scared the rivet will be of a lesser quality? Why not find a friend with a drill and rivet gun and do it yourself then? Here's the process: Drill a damn hole through the badge and metal/plastic than it sits on. Use the rivet gun to put a rivet in. Done. FFS

  24. if you are worried about resale value you should buy an allion or premio. Usually the type of people that buy BMW aren't concerned about resale value, price of parts, fuel consumption etc.
