  1. Hello All, I am planning to buy a Ford Festiva car. Found a 19-xxxx one (year 1993) and the owner is asking for 600k. It has some rust in passenger side floor board, near the battery and in door edges. The owner says he has repaired the alternator, brake servo and AC cooling fan recently. What are your experience with this mode? Is it economical to run? Are spare parts available?

  2. seriously? spray-painting your mirrors, front&rear lights and indicators is fun? spray-painitng more stuff and having over-spray on the body and bumpers is fun? Your best friend might have been the one who got laid that night, but i bet you were probably the one who was f**ked when it came to putting that car back to normal.

  3. Indeed its a matter of taste and opinion. For me I like to keep things as realistic as possible, minimize the things that can be spotted as photoshopped, and then there are those who like you say, are more "artisitc" in their approach. And without out a doubt theres alot of good stuff out there which i respect. But I wouldn't say one way was better than the other, nor would one way be "taking it to the next level". They are totally different approaches for different people. It takes a great deal of talent with both scenarios.

  5. Oh boy, now hes started on Euro cars as well..... Gee I wonder why Audi didnt think of putting "rims" a black bootlid and a coffee table onto an A4! Perhaps because this generation of A4 in standard form is one of the best looking 4 door cars around? (Before the "fadyness" of course) And where is the petrol put in may I ask? since you appear to have photoshopped out the fuel filler cap as well....

  6. Listen, you're an old man, STOP ACTING LIKE AN OLD WOMAN. You're the ass who's posting mud and accusing people of having your own fetishes. And YOU have the unmitigated gall to complain about the moderators?! YOU are taking the same liberties you are complaining about the others taking. If you want to complain about people throwing mud at you, Don't do it while calling other people homosexuals!

  7. Hi, Finally I managed to sort out my gear shift problem. 1st checked dropping resistor resistance - it was within acceptable limits ( 10~15 ohm as per service manual ) - so it's not that ( refer 1.pdf) Then checked Line pressure solenoid voltages / resistance ( 1.pdf ) - it was with in acceptable limits ( but this is after 1 ~2 hrs drive with heated ATF ) Then replaced TCU with similar model TCU ( G10 & Y11 has same TCU since both has QG15DE engine ) - but still the grear shift prob was there... So final option was to remove Control Valve Assembly in the gear box & check the Line Pressure Solenoid !!!! ( refer 2 .pdf & 3 .pdf ) Once control valve assembly is dismantled can take the solenoid valve assembly out. ( refer Page 3, 1st pic in 3 .pdf ) When the line pressue solenoid resistance was checked in dismantled form ( at that time solenoid was in normal room temp - not heated ) it was showing abnormal resistance figure...!!!! - problem diagnosed - issue was faulty line pressure solenoid .. replaced with recon one. Now no issue ... back to normal....!!!! hope this might be useful for you all.
