Thanks guys, actually the last one is a TR2,and the fiat(red) is a normal "BUG FIAT",

the black MG A we use every day it's just up for a new paint job, shouldn't be more than two weeks, the yellow one should take a couple of months as we are waiting for some parts to arrive, the T's are in good running condition,we are planning on restoring the roadsters first and then move on to others.what do you think, any advice?

Wow ...what a dream collection! Got more pics mate?

MINIACE

I got some more pics as miniace requested, the rest of our cars are in negombo,i will get photos of them next time i visit.

The black MG A-This is my favorite, this very car was in the hit movie "Delowak Athara" directed by Lester James Peiris.this car is very famous because that movie is based on a hit & run accident caused by this car so this was one of the main "actors".it's very light on it's feet and very agile so there is much sideways fun to be had,i've also posted the tyres and rims we're gonna use, they give the car a very mean look much like the AC Cobra.the yellow one will have the classic MG A look.

PICS REMOVED...SORRY PPL!

MG TC & TF-we don't drive this.it's more of a park and polish car like supra_natural said, but i can tell you it's very graceful on the road,a sure head turner

PICS REMOVED...SORRY PPL!

Citroen 2cv-In france these are like our three wheelers, they're everywhere.the engine is tiny, only 2 cylinders.

PICS REMOVED...SORRY PPL!

Triumph TR2-a very powerful car,as you can see there is much work to be done.

PICS REMOVED...SORRY PPL!

The sol & the nouva.

PICS REMOVED...SORRY PPL!

Cheers :)

Hi HelRazor

Great collection your dad has got. How long has he had them? Is he a member of the Classic Car Club?

Btw two of the logos from your signature interests me. Have you got an Italian bike? And the 2nd one is my school as well :) !

Thanks GTAm,my dad has had the mg t's for over 30 years, and the two mga's were bought in 1986 for 20000/-,in the mid 90's he bought a jag,humber,fiat,peaugot,tr3/2/sprite,2cv,3 minis at once when business was doing well.some of them are still with us.

I have a 1997 Aprilia RS250 on the way here,so I tecnically own it.

he's in the CCC,but he is not a very active member.the last time we went to a show was in the late 90's.

Wow lucky you. The Aprillia looks fab. I want to get a bike after my cars are done. Do you think there are any MV A s in SL?

Yep there's a walk on sometime this month. Will check the exact date.

i've heard some people talk about two 500cc augustas that raced here in the 70's apart from that i don't know any others, maybe other bike freaks could shed some light on this.

Wow now that is news indeed. I only knew of a Duke that raced in the 70's and located the owner.

there's also a 250cc MVA(not sports) belonging to a retired manager of singer living in yakkala,he also has a norton manx.you're better off importing a new bike rather than restoring these old relics mate, unless u like classics. i did consider an augusta before getting the aprilia but the only available one was the F4 750,that was bloody expensive and rare.

Anyway tell me if u need any help, those of us that are brave enough to go for italian(specially in sri lanka) need to stick together :)
