  2. The fist generation Leafs have a lawsuit going against Nissan in Texas and other Warm states, which had similar battery issues like in SL. Better give your money to charity if you have too much of it. as for the new generation, it is too early to say how it will cope in SL climate. Better wait until the Official dealer brings it down if ever..On the other hand i wonder why succesfull EVs like Renault Zoe, VW eGolf, and BMW-I3 failed to penetrate, too costly?

    Suzuki Crossovers

The vitara is around 6 mil, uk import, Rear leg room is an issue, I didn't do an in depth research but the car looks better in person, its badly shadowed by the CHR though
  4. You realise degrading batteries and poor replacement options make the car a dead end in terms of future prospects right? Also you range drops as the battery ages not as the kms you run in, The whole EV outburst was not backed enough by any investor thereby died out, no Parts, no after sales services and most of all dire shortage for fast chargers. Selling the wagon r for a leaf would not be a wise option on the long run, I learnt this the hard way, went EV ninja once upon a time. There are cars for 9 laks atm which came in at 2.6 to 3.1 mil in 2015, with only 2 to 3 bars left running about 50km without ac. Whatever you save using the leaf financially you will lose in depreciation, as for being eco friendly, you ll be consuming electricity mostly supplied by burning coal.

    Information about L200

    1. Stay away from uk imported navaras as chassis corrosion is a big issue, also they have many faults. 2. 4 mil is a good price for an L200 of this era, 3. Fuel consumption is like 8kmpl to 10kmpl, any better is a lie 4. Check for corrosion, roof line around the windshield, rear tub, chassis, Check for agent maintenance history, Note mileage is in miles so do the conversion, miles are not a problem if they are well taken care of, we have one with 254000miles! Engine not opened, stock turbo Check for fault codes, check engine lights, Better do an agent inspection or car checks inspection They need super diesel, or new injectors you decide. Try to get a raging bull edition as that is more equipped and has a bit more performance, Check if 4wd is working, do a test drive, suspension is not noisy under normal circumstances, it's very nippy in terms of acceleration, so anything that feels slow or has turbo lag is a problem Look around the turbo for oil seepage, if so need turbo overhaul or replacement. Blow by and oil sputtering from the dipstick pipe is normal for these engines. Black smoke during revving is normal, but if its blue smoke, expect an overhaul. Expect bumps scrapes dents that's normal for a pickup.

    Honda Civic Sedan 2019

If you go to nity pick on how they open the door, close the bonnet, wash the car there is no place in Sri Lanka that will satisfy you. In my case I leave the car if it is agent and check the car at the time of collecting. Usually they inspect the car before taking over (not Stafford) and any damages are noted. If the car is not on warranty, I don't go to the agent I stay with the car and get specific things like oil change, brake check done through a friendly garage or service. Do the washing and vacuum at home. I don't get the point of all this fuss when your car is exposed to three / two wheeler and morons at the parking lot. Most of my dings and scrapes happened when the car was parked.

    Honda Civic Sedan 2019

Last week I was did my car first maintenance at Stafford Maradhana. and this is the 1st time I have taken my car to the agent for maintenance. my 1st experience is negative. may be I'm comparing with other places. actually I thought Agent having well trained & proper maintenance with good environment. but actually not. as usual majority places, Stafford too concerning about polishing n giving nice look car. but main thing would be Service related oil, filter replacements. During service, 5-6 times power went off and Even generator failed due to mainline short circuit. finally I had to ask them not to vacuum and return the car. Also observed another incident at same place. another guy who owned of Honda Fit GP5 done the service and during car handed over time, Honda employee (seems team leader grade) open the door unprofessional way. n there is small space between door and wall, n caused door edge hit the wall n damaged paint. and the owner complain this incident to the management and initially refused and passing ball. As I'm witnessed the incident, I have told them that it was a mistake from the Honda guy. So all these incident, this will be my last 1st & last day with Honda service with Stafford. and more encourage my known place for maintenance. and that place thousand times better than Honda.
  8. Hi guys, It's been ages I've been back on the forum but I did thoroughly search the whole forum before posting this I am currently looking for a webpage which I had come across in late 2018, where almost all details of the generation 1 Nissan Leaf was listed comprehensively, including all the differences between each trim levels for JDM (S, X, G) and UKDM (Visia, Acenta, Tekna) along with pictures of different options, even photos of the different standard alloy wheels, navigation units, climate control dials, interior colours and materials which were offered etc. Unfortunately, since it was more than 6 months ago, my search/browser history also does not have details going back that far and like an idiot I could not bookmark it also. In my current searches, I was able to locate some sites with good info but not as detailed as the earlier one, which really helped in getting to know the exact model and trim of cars on sale. If any of you have seen, know which site I'm referring to or come across it, appreciate if you can share it! https://samholford.github.io/leafguide/ https://insideevs.com/news/325877/used-nissan-leaf-buying-guide/ https://www.drivelife.co.nz/2017/12/2011-nissan-leaf-g-used-ev-review-daily-driver-replacement/ I'm looking to sell/exchange my '18 WagonR for a Tekna/G grade Leaf due to a change in finances and not needing more than 50km max of range per day anymore since I'm back in my hometown. I'd prefer a Tekna since it's all in English though heavier and got slightly less range, but there are apparently around 20x more G Grades in LK than UKDM cars.

  10. I have nissan presea R11,it starts perfectly in the morning. After I leave it running for a while, it takes about 5 seconds to crank before starting. Once started it runs fine. But if I leave it off for say 8-9 hours, it starts fine again. One last thing, if I stop the car and start right up within 3-4 minutes, it starts right up without any issues.

Of course. Wasn't trying to hurt anybody's feelings. It's actually great that he's a real owner of the vehicle and happy with it, rather than a marketing agent from UML trying to persuade people.

LOL the CarDostara even has a mighty dostara badge on his ride, which makes it double kool. So the not-dostara laymen should all believe him now and buy DFSK vehicles now.😂
