4g15 Turbo Conversion

I'm having an idea to increase the output figures of the power plant of my Lancer C12. This car has been modified with 4G15 Carburetor 12 valve power plant and a close ratio transmission case. Since 4G15 came with a turbo (4G15T) version I thought to take up a project to turbo charge it but bang, few constraints. Need to convert it to EFI first it seems and since transmission is a close ratio, I still would be able to make use of it.

I have following questions in my mind and has anyone of you'll done it before?

How feasible to carry out an EFI conversion and subsequently turbo charge it ? what parts needs to be considered ? and replacing it with a 4G15T or more powerful plant would be more practical and cost effective? Down side of replacing the plant is RMV work and change of engine capacity.

my advice is don't switch to injection. cos once u turbocharge it all the ecu mapping will drive u up the wall.

but then again i dont kno how easy it is to turbocharge a carb fed engine. you'll probably need uprated parts. i'll let the carb experts comment on that.

anyways unless u got a factory ecu for the turbo, turbocharging an efi car is a chore
